DraftKings Fantasy Football Deals for Week 9

Lorenzo Taliaferro, Andre Williams price is right on DraftKings for week 9. These two running backs were both selected in the 2014 NFL draft as Taliaferro came out of Coastal Carolina and Williams out of Boston College. Now they both are solid contributors for their respective clubs as well as their fantasy owners.

Taliaferro joined the Baltimore Ravens after the team elected to draft him with the teams 138th pick overall in the fourth round. On the season the Ravens rookie has carried the ball 51 times for 226 yards with four touchdowns. The downside is it is a big gamble if Justin Forsett gets the bulk of carries but his $3,300 cost would allow you to go after more than one of those high price play makers!

Forsett was a bargain early on but has became a more expensive pick each week for fantasy owners. We expect the ball to be spread around possible even more than typical this week as Forsett missed practice with a minor ankle injury.

In New York, Williams is expected to get the start on Monday Night against the Indianapolis Colts. The teams top running back is expected to miss another week of the season leaving the door open for Williams to get the bulk of the carries.

The Colts defense is in the middle of the pact in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Much like Taliaferro in Baltimore, Williams was being used in compliments to Jennings before taking over the starting job.

Here are some of the other top DraftKings bargains for week 9.

Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins ($3,900): The return of Robert Griffin III could benefit Morris even more in week 9. We expect the team to focus more about the ground game to help take off some of the pressure and to keep RGIII healthy.

Markus Wheaton, Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,900): It seems many are writing off Wheaton but after the performance the Steelers put up last week look for the Baltimore Ravens to limit both Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant. The Ravens will also be without one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL Jimmy Smith.

Jermaine Kearse, Seattle Seahawks ($3,100): This game could get out of hand if the Oakland Raiders don’t put up some points early. That opens up the door for Russell Wilson to have another big game and Kearse will be apart of that as the teams second wide receiver.

Jared Cook, St. Louis Rams ($3,000): In the teams first meeting with the San Francisco 49ers, Cook pulled in four catches for 74 yards. Despite being very inconsistent this season the team’s offense has started to build some rhythm with Austin Davis behind center.

Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs ($5,700): The quarterback position is a difficult one to pick a bargain as most of the quarterbacks are over $5,000. The positive with going with Smith is he cost almost half as the top overall quarterback Andrew Luck. We like the Chiefs at home against the New York Jets as one of the top fantasy plays.

Other top bargains for DraftKings for week 9: Jeremy Hill ($4,000), Jairus Wright ($3,100) and Jonas Gray ($3,400).
