Fanduel Fantasy Football Bargains for Week 8

Jerick McKinnon, Tre Mason look to continue recent success as top bargains on FanDuel. McKinnon and the Minnesota Vikings head to Tampa Bay to take on a struggling Buccaneers team. The rookie out of Georgia Southern is slowly emerging as the main running back for Norv Turner in Minnesota.

McKinnon hasn’t racked the huge game as we have seen with some of the top running backs in the league but he has been consistent.  Over the last four games McKinnon has posted three games with at least 11.1 points on FanDuel. This allows you a very nice fantasy play at a great bargain price of only $5,800.

The Buccaneers defense has been scorched over the past two weeks allowing 309 yards and three rushing touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints. The running backs also combined to pull in 11 passes for 103 yards and one receiving touchdown.

The other key bargain for the week is Tre Mason of the St. Louis Rams. Mason impressed not only head coach Jeff Fisher last week but football experts around the game. The Rams rookie running back rushed for 85 yards with a touchdown against one of the top defenses in the NFL in the Seattle Seahawks.

The former Auburn Tigers running back will have a second straight difficult matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs but look for him to put up some numbers. Mason has a very favorable cap cost on FanDuel at $6,000. Here are the other top bargains on FanDuel for week 8.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,900): The former Texas A&M wide receiver is slowly getting healthy and it is showing up on the football field. Evans has eight catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns over the past two games heading into the teams bye week last weekend. This week the Bucs take on a Minnesota Vikings team that has allowed nine touchdown receptions to wide receivers.

Greg Jennings, Minnesota Vikings ($5,500): This could be a great week to take a gamble on a trio of Vikings including quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The Vikings are taking on a Buccaneers team that is allowing the most fantasy points in the league to opposing wide receivers. In week 6 Joe Flacco was able to connect on five touchdowns to four different Ravens receivers against the same defense.

Crockett Gilmore, Baltimore Ravens ($4,600): Before you ask who this guy is Gilmore will be getting the start at tight end for the Baltimore Ravens with Owen Daniels out. The Ravens starting quarterback Flacco likes to work his tight end into the action connecting with Daniels at least four times in all but two games this season.

Justin Hunter, Tennessee Titans ($5,300): This will be the first real action during the regular season that Hunter and Zach Mettenberger can connect. The two were able to connect on a few big plays during the preseason. This week the Titans take on a Houston Texans team that has allowed nine touchdown receptions.

Other notable bargains on FanDuel for week 8: Zach Mettenberger, Davante Adams and Isaiah Crowell.
