The third week of the 2015 NFL season is here as fans look to cash in on FanDuel this Sunday. That includes a chance for one lucky Fantasy FanDuel Owner to walk away with a top prize of a $1 million dollars. Along with this $20 entry tournament FanDuel owners will have a ton of opportunities in week 3 to cash in on the NFL action.

Before we get to our week 3 lineup we wanted to take a quick look around the NFL at some key pieces that could play a key role into which players you might want to take. The first place we wanted to start with was the New Orleans Saints as they will be without All-Pro quarterback Drew Brees. Brees was ruled out on Friday causing the Saints to turn to journeyman quarterback Luke McCown.

This one move not only eliminates our decision to use Brees at quarterback but also puts a damper on the teams running and receiving games. We suggest avoiding running back Mark Ingram as well as wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Marques Colston this week.

The other game that could play out to have a big impact on the fantasy action on FanDuel during week 3 is the Seattle Seahawks verse the Chicago Bears matchup. This contest could see multiple players out of the lineup including running back Marshawn Lynch for the Seahawks as well as quarterback Jay Cutler for the Bears.

Each of these impacts fantasy rosters in a different concept as fantasy owners will more than likely look to avoid the Bears receivers with Jimmy Clausen under center. On the other side the fantasy value would increase for the Seahawks back up running back Fred Jackson.

Other injuries to monitor and be cautious with is quarterback Matthew Stafford, DeMarco Murray, Jason Witten, Eric Decker and Eddie Lacy. Each of these players are big time playmakers in their offense taking away some valuable options for FanDuel owners.

Here is our complete FanDuel Lineup for Week 3 of the 2015 NFL season.

Quarterback – Josh McCown ($6,000): We would have gone with Johnny Football Manziel if he was slated to start. That being said the Oakland Raiders defense has been scorched in the passing game over the first two weeks. Another solid option is quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the Miami Dolphins against a Buffalo Bills defense allowing nearly 350 yards passing per contest.

Other Fantasy Quarterback Options for week 3 include Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden (Fantasy Sleeper) and Colin Kaepernick.

Running Back – Jamaal Charles ($8,700): We won’t let the fumble problems from last week scare us. Look for Charles to take advantage of a Green Bay Packers defense that has struggled to slow down opposing running backs. If you are looking for more of a high rish high reward player you could go with Knile Davis in this matchup as well.

Running Back – T.J. Yeldon ($6,600): As reports are indicating the Jacksonville Jaguars running back is expected to see a heavy dose of the carries in week 3 against the New England Patriots. The Patriots have allowed 294 rushing yards over their first two contests.

Other top Fantasy Running Back options for week 3 include Isaiah Crowell, Latavius Murray, Le’Veon Bell, C.J. Anderson and Doug Martin.

Wide Receiver – Rishard Matthews ($5,700): We like both Matthews and Jarvis Landry in this AFC East matchup. That being said we elected to save a few dollars at this pick going with Matthews. We have seen over the first two weeks if you want to beat the Bills you will need to throw the ball as their rush defense has been solid.

Wide Receiver – Travis Benjamin ($5,600): Since we are going with the Browns starting quarterback we elected to stack with one of his receivers. Benjamin has been a big surprise over the teams first two games hauling in three touchdown grabs to go with 204 yards receiving.

Wide Receiver – Demaryius Thomas ($8,400): We love the Denver Broncos matchup against the Detroit Lions. We felt comfortable going with either Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders so feel free to flip that since we have the salary cap relief to do so.

Other top Fantasy Wide Receiver options for week 3 include Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Tavon Austin, DeAndre Hopkins, Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams.

Tight End – Rob Gronkowski ($8,400): This was a simple and easy play for us to go with the top fantasy tight end in football. Add in the matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars makes him look even more appealing to the fantasy eye.

Other top Fantasy Tight End options for week 3 include Jordan Cameron, Tyler Eifert and Owen Daniels.

Kicker – Brandon McManus ($4,900): Looking for kickers who we know are playing in a dome or in a city with good weather landed us with the Broncos kicker. This is a game we expect to see the Broncos score some points especially against a Lions team that could be without an injured Matthew Stafford.

Other top Fantasy Kicker options for week 3 include Dan Bailey, Greg Zuerlein, Josh Scobee and Chandler Catanzaro.

Defense – Seattle Seahaws ($5,300): While we having been impressed by their defense to this point we like their matchup in week 3. They will be going up against an injury depleted Chicago Bears team who will be without starting quarterback Jay Cutler. Add in the chance of Kam Chancellor returning to their secondary increases their value.

Other top Fantasy Defenses for week 3 include Houston Texans and the Carolina Panthers.
