The weekends over but that won’t stop up from trying to cash in on some Major League Baseball action on FanDuel. Tonight’s lineup of Major League Baseball games includes 22 teams in action including a few of the top starters in the game. That includes the Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez and the Los Angeles Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw.

Along with the top two stars the list also includes Gerrit Cole for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Jacob deGrom , Michael Pineda for the New York Yankees and Jordan Zimmerman for the Washington Nationals. All of these are some great options it really comes down to how you build the rest of your lineup around them working with the available salary cap.

When you look at the top two options both are coming off big time fantasy performances as they both finished with 21 fantasy points in their last outing. Then you have Cole for the Pirates who has posted four straight double digit fantasy performances. Then you have Pineda who has shown at times he can be a big time fantasy star posting 17.66 in his last outing against the Kansas City Royals.

Here is what our MLB FanDuel lineup looks like for Monday June 1st, 2015:

P – Felix Hernandez, ($12,000): It is hard to look past one of the games top starters when they take the mound. We elected to go with Hernandez over Kershaw simply based on their location of play as the Dodgers are playing at Coors Field tonight. One deep fantasy sleeper for tonight is Brett Oberholtzer for the Houston Astros as they are going up against a Baltimore Orioles team that has struggled to score of late.

C – Wilson Ramos ($2,800): Ramos gets the nod behind the plate for us tonight as the Nationals host the Toronto Blue Jays. Now we strongly recommend monitoring the weather forecast as the DC/Baltimore market could be in for some strong storms. That being said Ramos has nine career hits in 13 at bats against R.A. Dickey with one home run.

First Base – Adrian Gonzalez ($3,800): Sticking with a player who has some track record against the starter they are facing tonight landed us with Gonzalez. Add in the fact the Dodgers are playing at Coors Field makes him an even bigger fantasy play.

Second Base – Neil Walker ($2,800): The Pirates second baseman has played well of late picking up six hits over his last four games. Add in the fact he has seven career hits off of Ryan Vogelsong in 16 career at bats makes him a strong play at second base. You could consider Howie Kendrick tonight for the Dodgers as well.

Third Base – Pablo Sandoval ($2,400): We are still waiting for the Kung Fu Panda to get it going for the Boston Red Sox this year. That being said we are in need of some salary cap relief which landed the Red Sox third baseman on our team tonight.

Short Stop – J.J. Hardy ($2,200): Hardy has gotten off to a slow start after coming off the disabled list. This has kept his fantasy value down but don’t let his struggles fool you he can put up some big time fantasy numbers when the ball leaves the yard. One option is to go with Jhonny Peralta who we also like and go cheaper than Giancarlo Stanton.

Outfielder – Giancarlo Stanton ($4,200): We wanted one of the big time fantasy producers from the outfield position in our lineup tonight. That being said we could work the numbers with Stanton to fit in while going with a few FanDuel bargains.

Outfielder – Christian Yelich ($2,300): Teaming up Stanton’s teammate tonight against the Chicago Cubs and Jason Hammel. Yelich is currently riding an eight game hitting streak including three multi-hit games over that time frame.

Outfielder – Matt Kemp ($2,300): After a solid start the San Diego Padres outfielder has cooled down and his fantasy value indicates that. Kemp has put together a few solid fantasy games of late only lacking the home run power.
