FanDuel MLB Lineup for Tuesday May 12

The FanDuel Major League Baseball season continues to roll on as we look to cash in tonight with our daily lineup. Tonight should be an interesting lineup of Major League Baseball to produce some big time fantasy numbers. In all we all have a 14 game lineup to build from today.

Unfortunately tonight’s lineup of contests doesn’t have an elite top tier starter to build around. Yes we have some solid options with Chris Sale, Chris Archer and Stephen Strasburg. None of these options stand out as Strasburg left last game with an injury, Sale hasn’t yielded a double-digit fantasy performance in his last three outings and Archer has yielded only 13.3 over his last two outings.

One solid option we like tonight is A.J. Burnett taking the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates are in Philadelphia taking on a Phillies team that ranks in the bottom of all of baseball in ops, runs batted in and home runs. Burnett has also yielded five double digit fantasy performances over his last six outings.

Looking for an option that might be a little more risky but have a higher reward in a GPP tournament look at Noah Syndergaard. The New York Mets top prospect is making his debut tonight against the Chicago Cubs.

Here is our FanDuel lineup for Tuesday May 12th, 2015.

P – A.J. Burnett ($8,200): We elected to go with Burnett who is a little cheaper than the top options but has been very consistent with producing double-digit fantasy performances.

C – Wilson Ramos ($2,900): The Washington Nationals catcher is been red hot picking up hits in his last nine games. While he might not provide a ton of power he does produce a consistent amount of positive fantasy numbers.

First Base – Adrian Gonzalez ($4,500): Gonzalez and Miguel Cabrera are the top two options as we are concerned with Paul Goldschmidt after he left last nights game. Gonzalez has ten hits over his last six games but has been limited with the home run numbers.

Second Base – Jace Peterson ($2,400): Looking for a cheaper alternative at the second base position landed us with Peterson. Peterson has produced positive fantasy numbers in nine of his last ten games.

Third Base – Luis Valbuena ($2,900): Looking for a cheap power option at third base yielded us with Valbuena for the Houston Astros. Valbuena has seven home runs on the season and has shown he can be consistent at the plate.

Short Stop – Jung-ho Kang ($2,800): The Pittsburgh Pirates short stop is riding a five game hitting streak. In that stretch he has eight hits in 17 at bats including two doubles, a home run and two runs batted in.

Outfielder – Mookie Betts ($3,400): Betts has been hot of late for the Boston Red Sox picking up five hits over his last three games. In those three contests he yielded his fantasy owners with three contests with at least 3.25 fantasy points.

Outfielder – Adam Jones ($3,700): Jones had cooled down a bit after his hot start but with four straight games with a hit he could be finding his groove once again. The Baltimore Orioles outfielder has shown over the years that he hits home runs in a group. Last night he connected on his sixth of the season so look to use him the next few games.

Outfielder – Ryan Braun ($4,100): While Braun has a difficult matchup tonight against Chris Sale he has been hot. Over his last ten games, Braun has picked up five games with over five fantasy points. Another nice option tonight is Brett Gardner for the New York Yankees.
