FanDuel MLB Lineup for Wednesday June 3rd

Cole Hamels looks to anchor our lineup tonight on FanDuel as one of the top starters on the mound. Hamels while not as appealing as say Corey Kluber for the Cleveland Indians. He does however have the better matchup taking on a Cincinnati Reds team that has scored the fifth fewest amount of runs in all of baseball.

Kluber on the other hand will take the mound for the Indians tonight against the Kansas City Royals. While his recent hot streak has everyone on the bandwagon he has struggled in his two outings against the Royals this season. In his first outing Kluber posted only a 7.33 fantasy total and followed it up with just a 7.66 performance.

Other top starters taking the mound tonight include Chris Sale for the Chicago White Sox and Sonny Gray for the Oakland A’s. Much like the Kluber matchup we don’t like Sale against one of the hotter teams in baseball the Texas Rangers. While Gray faces off against a Detroit Tigers lineup, that will have Miguel Cabrera in the middle of the order.

As always monitor the weather forecast for tonight’s lineup of games as well as the updated MLB lineups leading up to the start of the first contest.

Here is our MLB FanDuel lineup for Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015.

P – Cole Hamels – ($9,900): While Kluber might get a ton of the attention tonight after his terrific success of late, Hamels has performed well for fantasy owners as well. In his last five starts, Hamels has posted at least 15 fantasy points in each of those contests while posting double digits in eight of his last 10 starts. The move to use Hamels will save you some extra cash to spend on your lineup.

Catcher – Steve Clevenger ($2,200): This is a play that you want to monitor since Caleb Joseph is the every day catcher. That being said Joseph has started the last two games and this could be a game that Buck Showalter rests him with an early game tomorrow. Clevenger has four hits in his two starts since being recalled from the minors.

First Base – Ryan Howard ($3,000): We looked at a few options here including Adrian Gonzalez and Chris Davis. That being said we elected to go with Howard against Mike Leake who he is hitting .400 off with a pair of home runs for his career.

Second Base – Jeff Baker ($2,200): This is a hunch move going with his past success against Jon Lester. That being said there is a good chance Baker is not in the lineup but it hard to imagine the team would rest someone that is seven for 11 off of the opposing pitcher with a home run. Another solid option and a FanDuel bargain type player is Adam Rosales for the Texas Rangers.

Third Base – Mike Moustakas ($2,600): Looking at a fantasy play that some may pass up on based on who he will be facing opened up a spot on our lineup. Moustakas has hit Kluber well in the past picking up 13 hits in 27 at bats with six extra base hits.

Short Stop – Troy Tulowitzki ($4,500): When Tulo starts to heat up you have to jump on the bandwagon. Add in that tonight’s Colorado Rockies game is at Coors Field is an added bonus. Tulowitzki is currently riding a four game hitting streak that posted fantasy performances of 14, 2.25, 4.5 and 6 points in each of those contests.

Outfielder – Adam Eaton ($2,500): Eaton and the White Sox take on the Texas Rangers tonight in one of the best hitters ball parks in all of baseball. The White Sox outfielder connected for his third home run of the season last night. Look for him to build on that success.

Outfielder – Joc Pederson ($4,100): We elected to load up a few players from each of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Rockies. Monitor the lineup situation to make sure Pederson is in for sure. Pederson has been red hot hitting home runs in four straight games.

Outfielder – Carlos Gonzalez ($3,700): Like with Tulowitzki when Gonzalez starts to heat up you have to insert him in the lineup especially when the Rockies are at home. Gonzalez has hits in eight of his last 10 gams and as soon as some of the balls start leaving the yard his fantasy numbers will shoot up.
