The NBA fantasy action is filled with an eight game schedule on Saturday for FanDuel owners. This includes a few of the top fantasy players in the game including DeMarcus Cousins, James Harden, Stephen Curry and Chris Paul to name a few. Along with the big named stars the list of secondary stars are solid to including Mo Williams, Jusuf Nurkic and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

As we start to look around the NBA for perfect fantasy matchups the first contest to build your lineup around is the Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets. The Timberwolves are near the top in every position in terms of allowing the most fantasy points per game to that position. That includes allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing point guards and small forwards. The Nuggets on the other hand are allowing the most fantasy points in the NBA to the center position.

This gives us a starting point to start building our fantasy lineup from starting with Gorgui Dieng at the center position. Dieng has been solid over the last three games finishing with fantasy performances of 28.2, 37 and 43.9 in each of those contests. The move also gives us a solid center without spending over the $10k mark.

Here is the rest of our FanDuel lineup for Saturday.

Point Guard – Brandon Jennings ($7,900): Jennings has been the play maker in Detroit since the team let Josh Smith go. It has shown up on the court over his last ten games including four games with over 40 fantasy points. Tonight Jennings has a great matchup against a Philadelphia 76ers team that

Point Guard – Mo Williams ($6,200): The Timberwolves point guard has put together back to back big games for fantasy owners including a season high 64.3 against the Indiana Pacers. Tonight the Timberwolves take on the Denver Nuggets a game in which he should continue his success.

Shooting Guard – Kenatavious Caldwell-Pope ($4,400): Caldwell-Pope and Jodie Meeks are both solid cheap options tonight at the shooting guard position. Pop has been fairly consistent in regards to fantasy production.

Shooting Guard – Jamal Crawford ($5,100): Crawford and the Clippers take on a Sacramento Kings team allowing nearly 40 fantasy points a game to the shooting guard position. This along with Crawford’s ability to post 20 plus fantasy performance makes him a great bargain at $5,100.

Small Forward – Jeff Green ($5,400): Green is coming off his first 30 fantasy point performance over his last 10 games. That game came against an Orlando Magic team that allowed the Memphis Grizzlies small forward to post 21 points along with five rebounds and two assists. Green and the Grizzlies take on a Trailblazers team that allowed Matt Barnes to finish with 25.4 fantasy points on Wednesday.

Small Forward – Andrew Wiggins ($7,300): The Timberwolves small forward continues to develop his NB game and it has shown up for fantasy owners. Over his last ten games Wiggins has posted six games with over 30 fantasy points.

Power Forward – Paul Milsap ($8,100): Since his one game layoff, Milsap has rewarded fantasy owners with back to back 38 plus fantasy performances. Tonight the Hawks head to Chicago to take on the Bulls in an Eastern Conference showdown.

Power Forward – Greg Monroe ($8,300): Monroe is a great play tonight against a Philadelphia 76ers team that has allowed an average of 45 fantasy points a game over their last five games against the power forward position. Add that along with Monroe’s seven game stretch of games with over 30 fantasy points makes him an easy start.

Center – Gorgui Dieng ($7,200): We debated going with a cheaper option at center as well as going with DeMarcus Cousin. In the end the savings allowed us to spread some of that additional cash around to the other positions. The Timberwolves center has picked up four games with over 30 fantasy points in his last ten games.
