FanDuel NFL Lineup for Thursday October 22, 2015

Fanduel NFL $25 to $1M contest

The time has arrived for another week of NFL FanDuel action kicking off with tonight’s Thursday Night Football contest. While most of the fantasy action on FanDuel takes place around the lineup of games on Sunday including their $4M NFL Sunday Million contest the chance to cash in starting tonight is still an option.

That being said tonight’s contest featuring the Seattle Seahawks traveling to take on the San Francisco 49ers has the making to be a solid fantasy matchup. According to Number Fire Russell Wilson is the sixth best option at quarterback this week while running back Marshawn Lynch and tight end Jimmy Graham sit as the fourth best options at their position.

While the fantasy matchups favor the Seahawks in tonight’s lineup we you could also consider going with the 49ers quarterback. Over the past two weeks Colin Kaepernick has turned in two solid fantasy performances recording over 20 points in each of those weeks. Kaepernick will also be one of the plays this week that should be a low percentage play giving you a higher reward for the big risk.

Some of the other top fantasy plays for FanDuel during week 7 of the 2015 NFL season include running back Adrian Peterson, quarterback Andrew Luck and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Peterson has a favorable matchup against a Detroit Lions team allowing the seventh most yards on the ground in the NFL this season.

Here is our week 7 NFL FanDuel lineup starting with Thursday Night Football.

Quarterback – Philip Rivers ($8,000): While Luck looks to have a big game in week 7 we like the San Diego Chargers salary cap number as well his matchup. Rivers gets a shot at an Oakland Raiders team that is allowing nearly 300 yards per game through the air to opposing quarterbacks.

Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback Options include Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson and Drew Brees.

Running Back – Todd Gurley ($7,400): Gurley might have the best fantasy matchup of the weekend at the running back position going up against a Cleveland Browns defense that has allowed the most yards per game on the ground this season at nearly 150 yards per contest.

Running Back – LeSean McCoy ($7,700): McCoy is another solid option with fantasy owners setting their lineup kicking off tonight. Since the Buffalo Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London that game will kickoff before the contests begin on Sunday. McCoy gets a shot at a Jaguars team that has allowed a combined nine touchdowns to the running back position.

Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back Options include Latavius Murray, Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell.

Wide Receiver – T.Y. Hilton ($7,700): The Indianapolis Colts wide receiver has a solid fantasy play going up against the New Orleans Saints. Currently NumberFire has him at the fifth best option at the wide receiver position for this weekend going up against the 30th ranked Saints defense.

Wide Receiver – Antonio Brown ($8,300): Brown has seen his fantasy value drop since losing quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. That could all change as the veteran quarterback has started taking snaps with an outside shot at taking the field on Sunday. That being said we fully expect the Steelers to find a way to get Brown involved especially with opposing defenses looking more at Le’Veon Bell in the offense.

Wide Receiver – Malcom Floyd ($5,800): If we were setting this lineup on Sunday there is a chance we would go with Keenan Allen. That being said both Allen and Steve Johnson are dealing with injuries making Floyd a great FanDuel Bargain against a bad Raiders pass defense.

Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver Options include Amari Cooper, Larry Fitzgerald, Jermaine Kearse, Jamison Crowder and Danny Amendola.

Tight End – Antonio Gates ($5,800): Since returning Gates has pulled in at least nine catches in both games to go with at least 92 yards. Add in the added value of going up against a Raiders team that has allowed a league high six touchdowns to the tight end position makes Gates a solid fantasy play with Rivers as our quarterback.

Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End Options include Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham and Greg Olsen.

Kicker – Chandler Catanzaro ($4,900): The Monday Night Football matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens could be a solid matchup for the kicker position. That being said we expect this game to be one sided as the Ravens defense has struggled all season opening up the possibility for the Cardinals to put some points on the board.

Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker Options include Steven Hauschka, Dan Bailey and Matt Bryant.

Defense – Pittsburgh Steelers ($4,600): We like the Steelers week 7 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Along with us according to the numbers provided by ESPN, the Chiefs rank ninth in points allowed to opposing defenses this season.

Other top NFL Defense Options include Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks.
