Fanduel Suggested NBA Lineup for Monday January 12

fanduel nba-base-728x90 january 15

Anthony Davis, James Harden big time fantasy options for tonight on FanDuel. Davis will lead his New Orleans Pelicans into Boston to take on the Celtics. The NBA’s top power forward enters tonight’s lineup leading all options tonight in fantasy points per game with nearly 47 points a game. Harden and the Houston Rockets will also be on the road as they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets.

Harden is the only other option taking the floor tonight averaging over 40 fantasy points a game. The Rockets shooting guard has been hot of late posting five straight games over 30 fantasy points including a 46.3 point game on January 8th the last time the team played a game in New York. Over his last ten games, harden has posted a 58.4 point game as well as a 60.6 point game.

While Harden has been excellent, Davis has even played at a higher level for his fantasy owners. In his last ten games, Davis has four games over 50 fantasy points and two additional games over 40 fantasy points. This will be the first game for Davis against the Celtics this season but last year in two games he averaged 31.5 points along with 15 rebounds, 2.5 assists and three blocked shots.

In all, fantasy owners have four games to build a fantasy lineup around giving you a few other options to build around.

Here is our suggested FanDuel Lineup for January 12th including James Harden and Anthony Davis.

Point Guard – Brandon Jennings, Detroit Pistons ($7,500): Jennings is coming off a big game on Sunday as he finished with 43.1 fantasy points. With only a handful of top options at the point guard position we took Jennings to save a few dollars but expect the Pistons point guard to have another big game.

Point Guard – Jarrett Jack, Brooklyn Nets ($6,600): Jack continues to be a solid start with Deron Williams out of the lineup for the Brooklyn Nets. Despite struggling in his last game against the Pistons, Jack has put up two 30 plus fantasy performances ins his three previous games.

Shooting Guard – James Harden, Houston Rockets ($10,700): This was an easy call as Harden is clearly the best shooting guard on the court tonight. Despite a hefty price tag Harden has a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight.

Shooting Guard – Kenatavious Caldwell-Pope, Detroit Pistons ($4,400): When you decide to go with two of the most expensive players on the court you start to look for bargains. Caldwell-Pope is a high risk high reward type of player including scoring 31.1 fantasy points against a very good Atlanta Hawks team on Friday Night.

Small Forward – James Johnson, Toronto Raptors ($4,900): Were looking for Johnson to continue his success from Sunday as he finished with 35 fantasy points. This marked the second time in three games he scored over 30 fantasy points and third time in his last five games.

Small Forward – Trevor Ariza, Houston Rockets ($5,600): Ariza has all the potential in the world to put up some big numbers but on a crowded Rockets team that doesn’t happen every night. Over his last four games the Rockets small forward has posted four games over 20 fantasy points including nearly 35 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Power Forward – Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans ($10,900): This was a no brainer as he and Harden are the only players averaging over 40 fantasy points a game. All you have to do is look at his stat sheet and this pick is an easy choice.

Power Forward – Patrick Patterson, Toronto Raptors ($4,500): Patterson is another one of those high risk high reward types. That showed up on the stat sheet yesterday as Patterson dropped 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and set up three assists. The performance earned him 31.3 fantasy points and a big reward to fantasy owners.

Center – Tyler Zeller, Boston Celtics ($4,800): The Celtics continue to flip players over and this time it was the remaining best player on the team Jeff Green. This should leave the team limited with options making Zeller a grat play tonight despite his lackluster fantasy performances over his last two games.
