Fantasy Football plays for week 2 of the 2015 NFL Season

Fanduel NFL win $1M

The first week of the 2015 NFL season is in the books leaving fantasy owners to wonder what the future will bring. Entering that first week all eyes were on the big name stars like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Aaron Rodgers and Antonio Brown. After the final game on Monday only three of those put up solid fantasy numbers.

Now that can be blamed on many different reasons but the key reason is not giving the defenses they were facing in week 1 enough credit entering the game. That all changes going forward as we have all seen all 32 NFL teams in action and have seen what they bring on the defensive side of the ball.

This will help us as we start to game plan for this weekends lineup of games as we start to build our lineups. Will it be Drew Brees to land you a $1 million dollars on FanDuel? How about another big game from Antonio Brown to help you cash in on $2 million dollars on DraftKings? Each of those fantasy options have landed on our top fantasy plays for week 2.

Here is our complete list of Top Fantasy Football plays for week 2.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints: Every fan in the country is licking their chops at the chance to use Brees at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs defense struggled in week 1 allowing Marcus Mariota to throw for over 200 yards to go along with four touchdown passes. Only downside to Brees may be the large quantity of fans who elect to use him in week 2.

Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons quarterback will get his shot at a Giants secondary that struggled at times in week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. In the end Tony Romo was able to march down the field to connect on the game winning touchdown with less than a minute left. Romo finished the game with 356 yards to go with three touchdown passes.

Ameer Abdullah, Detroit Lions: We loved Abdullah heading into the first week of the 2015 NFL season. This week he gets a shot with the other Lions running backs to take on a Minnesota Vikings team that allowed a league high 230 yards on the ground in their week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants: This matchup between the Giants and Falcons looks to be another exciting offensive based games. Last week the Falcons struggled to slow down the Eagles passing attack allowing Sam Bradford to rack up 336 passing yards. If that happens again in week 2, look for Beckham Jr to rack up over 200 yards receiving by himself.

Other top fantasy plays this week to join the names up top include Torrey Smith, Terrance Williams, Marshawn Lynch, T.J. Yeldon, Chris Ivory, Steve Smith and Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
