The time has arrived for another week of fantasy football preparation as the 2016 NFL season rolls into week 7. This week there is a ton of difficult decisions to be made for the season long fantasy owner as well as fans looking to capitalize on daily fantasy sites like FanDuel and DraftKings.

Those difficult decisions start at the quarterback position where Ben Roethlisberger owners will need to decide whether or not to ride with Landry Jones. The Steelers quarterback is just one of a few key players who are battling injury concerns entering this weekend a good chance to cash in on some Fantasy Sleepers.

Along with the chance to landing an injury replacement option week 7 also has a few key matchups that should provide us with some Fantasy Sleeper options. Those matchups include a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has a prime time matchup against an Oakland Raiders team that has allowed the most yards in all of football as well as a Kansas City Chiefs team that will face off against a New Orleans Saints team that is allowing the most points per game in the NFL.

With all that said here are some key Fantasy Sleepers for week 7 of the 2016 NFL Season.

Fantasy Sleepers – Quarterbacks

Landry Jones, Pittsburgh Steelers: Jones should be a pretty solid fantasy option this weekend as he looks to lead the Steelers to a prime time win over the New England Patriots. For us this move is simple based on the weapons that Jones has surrounding him including the NFL’s top wide receiver Antonio Brown and one of the NFL’s top running backs Le’Veon Bell.

Fantasy Sleepers – Running Back

Jacquizz Rodgers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Entering week 7, Rodgers might be the top fantasy sleeper of the week especially on salary cap formats such as FanDuel simply based on his matchup. If Rodgers gets the start and Doug Martin is not active you must build around him against a San Francisco 49ers team that has allowed a league high 1,046 yards to start the season.

Chris Ivory, Jacksonville Jaguars: Here is another solid fantasy option as Ivory will look to take advantage of a struggling Oakland Raiders defense. Entering Sunday the Raiders are ranked 3rd in the NFL in rushing yards allowed while ranking fifth in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.

Other fantasy sleeper running backs for week 7 include James White, Kenneth Dixon (Deep Fantasy Sleeper) and Justin Forsett.

Fantasy Sleepers – Wide Receivers

Breshad Perriman, Baltimore Ravens: Perriman has not lived up to the hype that was built around him when the Ravens drafted him last season. Now much of that has to do with him recovering from his knee issues but week 7 should be the time for a break out game against a New York Jets team that has struggled to slow down opposing wide receiver.

Charone Peake, New York Jets: The Jets have had their issues to start the season and much of them have come from the quarterback position. That being said Peak has emerged as a viable fantasy sleeper after pulling in five catches for 43 yards while being targeted a team high 10 times. Look for the Jets to spread the ball around against a Ravens defense that has allowed a league high 12 touchdown receptions this season.

Marqise Lee, Jacksonville Jaguars: Lee is a strong candidate as a fantasy sleeper at the wide receiver position this weekend as he looks to take advantage of a Raiders secondary that has struggled at times. Entering week  7 the Jaguars receiver has been targeted at least six times in four straight games.

Other fantasy sleeper wide receivers for week 7 include Anquan Boldin, Kendall Wright and Torrey Smith.

Fantasy Sleepers – Tight Ends

C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals: Now we strongly recommend monitoring the injury status of Tyler Eifert heading into the Bengals showdown with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. If Eifert is out we suggest going with Uzomah against a Browns defense that has allowed 47 catches for 562 yards with six touchdowns to opposing tight ends.

Other fantasy sleeper tight ends for week 7 include Vernon Davis and Crockett Gilmore.
