Latest NFL FanDuel Lineup for Sunday December 20th 2015

Fanduel NFL Turn $5 into 100K

The 2015 NFL season is approaching the finishing line giving FanDuel owners a few more opportunities to cash in before the season is over. One of those opportunities comes this weekend including electing to take part in some action that gets underway tonight as the New York Jets head to Dallas to take on the Cowboys.

For us we have elected to turn our attention to the NFL action taking place on Sunday and Monday Night. That allowed us to look at a few key fantasy matchups to build around including the Monday Night showdown between the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions.

Entering this week the Saints have struggled to slow down the passing game and it has shown up in the fantasy numbers. Through their first 13 games, the Saints have allowed league highs in passing yards (3,799), passing touchdowns (36) while only intercepting six passes.

This makes Matthew Stafford one of the top fantasy options for the week as well as a handful of his teammates. That list includes wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate as well as tight end Eric Ebron. While we don’t expect this matchup to yield the double digit touchdown mark the Saints and New York Giants combined for we do expect Stafford and Drew Brees to put up some big numbers.

Fanduel NFL win $1M

Here is our NFL FanDuel lineup for Week 15 kicking off on Sunday.

Quarterback – Matthew Stafford ($7,800): While we ended up going with Stafford on Monday Night Football, it was a difficult debate between the Lions quarterback and Cam Newton. In the end we expect Newton to be used in a higher percentage of leagues making Stafford a higher risk, higher reward type play against a very bad Saints defense.

Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback Options include Cam Newton, Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Alex Smith.

Running Back – Jeremy Hill ($6,000): Coming off a disappointing 3.4 point fantasy performance last week, Hill will look to bounce back this weekend against the San Francisco 49ers. According to ESPN’s Points Against, the 49ers are allowing a league high in fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.

Running Back – Denard Robinson ($6,300): Robinson is a safe play this weekend as T.J. Yeldon is listed doubtful. This weekend the Jacksonville Jaguars host an Atlanta Falcons team that has allowed a combined 18 touchdown to opposing running backs this season.

Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back Options include Ameer Abdullah, Lamar Miller and Adrian Peterson.

Wide Receiver – Calvin Johnson ($8,000): Despite finding his name on the injury list each week, Johnson is a must start option this week at the wide receiver position. Prior this his single digit fantasy performance last week, Johnson had yielded double digit numbers in seven straight games.

Wide Receiver – Albert Wilson ($5,300): Wilson might not have the appeal that Jeremy Maclin has this weekend but both should be able to put together some nic fantasy numbers as the Chiefs take on a very bad Baltimore Ravens defense. Entering this weekend, the Ravens have allowed a league high 24 touchdown grabs to opposing receivers this season.

Wide Receiver – Allen Robinson ($8,100): Robinson turned in one of his only disappointments of the season last week. This week we expect the Jaguars offense and the Falcons offense to put up some offensive numbers. Look for Robinson to bounce back with another double digit fantasy performance.

Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver Options include DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, Larry Fitzgerald, Malcom Floyd, Tyler Lockett and Jeremy Butler (Fantasy Sleeper).

Tight End – Rob Gronkowski ($8,500): Now we have elected to go with Gronk this weekend our only concern is this game becomes a one sided affair led by the New England Patriots leading to rest time in the second half.

Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End Options include Eric Ebron, Tyler Kroft (Deep Fantasy Sleeper) and Richard Rodgers.

Kicker – Nick Novak ($4,500): We looked at a few of the top fantasy kickers this weekend but elected to go with Novak. Novak and the Houston Texans travel to take on the Indianapolis Colts in a game both team needs to win.

Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker Options include Stephen Gostkowski, Mason Crosby and Matt Prater.

Defense – Seattle Seahawks ($5,400): The Legion Of Boom might not be the same as we have seen over the past few seasons but they have stepped up over the past two weeks  to reward fantasy owners. This week they get a shot at a Cleveland Browns team that is not really good giving the Seahawks a chance to make it three straight weeks with double digit fantasy numbers.

Other top NFL Defense Options include Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers.
