NBA FanDuel for Thursday December 15th 2016

Fanduel NBA 5 CONTESTS 15-12-2016

The NBA schedule delivers us a very light five game slate tonight to take advantage of. That being said the light slate delivers some excellent top tier fantasy options to build around including small forward Kevin Durant as well as point guards Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry.

Only downside for us with a light slate like tonight’s is the lack of NBA Fantasy Sleepers potential we have to hit on to build around the likes of Lillard and Durant. One of the options we do like is shooting guard Langston Galloway for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The only other big time debate we have going in to tonight’s NBA FanDuel action is whether or not we should find a way to team up a Lillard/Durant with Anthony Davis. The three man combination would eat up over half of our total salary cap while leaving us with less than $5k to spend at each of the remaining six positions we need to round our NBA FanDuel lineup.

Here is our top NBA FanDuel Options for Thursday December 15th, 2016

Point Guards – Jeff Teague & Damian Lillard

The light five game NBA slate tonight limits at each of the positions around the NBA tonight. That being said we like both Teague and Lillard tonight based on their upcoming matchups tonight. Teague will get a shot at Pelicans defense that is allowing the second most fantasy points to the position tonight while Lillard is riding a three game streak of at least 30 fantasy points.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Stephen Curry

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Derrick Rose (follow injury status)

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Jameer Nelson/Emmanuel Mudiay

Shooting Guards  – Will Barton & Langston Galloway

For us the shooting guard position as the one slot tonight where we could see some real value at the mid tier level all the way to the fantasy sleeper slot. This lead us to Galloway who has seen over 25 minutes in four of his last five games while allowing him to post over 27 fantasy points in three of those contests. Meanwhile Barton will look to take advantage of a Trailblazers team that is allowing the most fantasy points to the position out of the ten teams tonight.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Monitor Injury Status)

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Klay Thompson

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Courtney Lee

Small Forwards – Kevin Durant & Danilo Gallinari

There are a few players that we almost have to build around every night they take to the hardwood. Tonight one of those players is Durant who is putting together an excellent 2016-17 season while posting some big time fantasy performances. On the year Durant has not posted a single game over the 30 fantasy point mark. Gallinari on the other hand has the potential night in and out to put together a 30 plus fantasy performance.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Jimmy Butler

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Danilo Gallinari

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: P.J. Tucker

Power Forwards – Thaddeus Young & Kristaps Porzingis

The real option we love at the power forward position tonight is Anthony Davis as he is the top option. The downside is we would would have to go with two midtier point guard options as well as going with a few fantasy sleepers below the $5k mark. In the end we found a combination that could provide us with solid fantasy performances while providing salary cap relief. Porzingis will get his chance to score as well as grab rebounds in a game tonight that should be very fast past and high scoring. Meanwhile Young gets to take on a Pelicans team that is allowing the second most fantasy points to the position tonight.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Anthony Davis

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Jabari Parker

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Ed Davis

Center Option – Kyle O’Quinn

Much like Porzingis, O’Quinn fantasy value rises tonight based on their matchup with the Warriors. The Knicks center should see additional opportunities for both offensive and defensive rebounds as well as some additional scoring opportunities in a contest that features the highest over/under line of the night. O’Quinn has topped the 30 plus fantasy mark in each of the last two games he played.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: No starter above the $6,200 mark

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Pau Gasol (monitor the lineups)

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Jusuf Nurkic
