The action packed fantasy sports weekend has come to an end as we get set to start tip off the week on Monday Night. This week’s Monday Night NBA lineup features a seven game slate that is sure to deliver some great fantasy options for FanDuel owners to cash in on.

At the front of the matchups sits a dynamic showdown in the Nations Capitals as the Washington Wizards welcome the Houston Rockets to town. This contest features one of the top fantasy options at the shooting guard position in James Harden as well as one of the top fantasy point guards in John Wall.

Now while those two options look great on paper as well as a few of the other top tier NBA FanDuel options we are still working with a salary cap structure. That one simple piece of information has helped us turn our attention to a few fantasy sleepers and bargains who could save us a few dollars.

One of those options is Markieff Morris for the Washington Wizards who currently carries a salary under the $6k mark. Morris has a prime matchup on Monday Night against a Rockets team that is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.

The other option that looks good on paper on Monday Night is the Rockets center Clint Capela. Entering their Monday Night Showdown the Wizards are allowing the seventh most fantasy points to opposing centers. This includes two double doubles over the teams first four games.

Here are our NBA options we like tonight to build our NBA FanDuel Lineup around.

NBA FanDuel Point Guards

George Hill, Utah Jazz: Hill is a solid option that is not named John Wall or Russell Westbrook. The Jazz’s point guard will have a chance to put together another big game on Monday Night against a Philadelphia 76ers team that has struggled on the defensive side of the ball. Opposing point guards are averaging over 23 points a game and 11 assists per contest this season against the 76ers.

Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder: Anytime you have a chance to build your FanDuel lineup around the Thunders point guard we suggest taking that option. Entering Monday Nights contest Westbrook has posted at least 42 fantasy points in all six games played this season.

Fantasy Sleeper Point Guard to consider: Tyler Johnson

NBA FanDuel Shooting Guards

James Harden, Houston Rockets: Now the debate to be made on Monday Night is whether or not to stack Harden and Westbrook on the same team while carrying a ton of our salary cap number. For us we like the idea but we could also see going with someone like Nicolas Batum and Monta Ellis to save a few dollars as well as going with Harden’s teammate Eric Gordon to save a few bucks.

Rodney Hood, Utah Jazz: As we tossed around combinations we stumbled on Hood as a top tier fantasy option at the shooting guard position. Now we suggest going with Hood if you go with someone other than Hill at the point guard to reduce the chance of a let down by both if Gordon Hayward takes over most of the scoring duties.

Fantasy Sleeper Shooting Guard to consider: E’Twaun Moore

NBA FanDuel Small Forwards

Justise Winslow, Miami Heat: Here is a position that we strongly consider as one that could allow us to save a few dollars at depending on which top tier options you have gone with at the other positions. Winslow will get a shot at a OKC Thunder team that is allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. Winslow has posted over 20 fantasy points in all five games this year including two performances of at least 31.

Gordon Hayward, Utah Jazz: After missing the start of the 2016-17 NBA Season, Hayward returned on Sunday to score 28 points and five rebounds against the New York Knicks. While we suggest monitoring the lineups as they are posted we like Hayward on Monday Night.

Fantasy Sleeper Small Forward to consider: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

NBA FanDuel Power Forwards

Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans: Davis is another one of those options that is a key one to build around. The problem is you will have to make a strong decision on which of the big time salaries you will take on and which fantasy sleepers to help you build the roster. Davis will face off against a Golden State Warriors team that is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.

Markieff Morris, Washington Wizards: The Wizards power forward is another one of those options who has a top five fantasy matchup at his position. Add that with the fact that has posted at least 34 fantasy points in back to back games makes him a great fantasy option.

Fantasy Sleeper Power Forwards to consider: Terrence Jones

NBA FanDuel Center

Robin Lopez, Chicago Bulls: Lopez hasn’t lived up to the potential the Bulls were hoping for when they brought him in this offseason. That being said he has put together a few FanDuel games with over 20 fantasy. Add that with the fact he gets a shot at an Orlando Magic team that is allowing nearly 19 rebounds a game and 24 points to opposing centers makes him a great option. Another solid option to consider is Myles Turner for the Indiana Pacers.

Fantasy Sleeper Centers to consider: Clint Capela
