FanDuel MLB Lineup for Monday July 27

The Monday morning blues have set in but that won’ slow us down from looking to cash in on some MLB FanDuel tonight. In all nine games are in action tonight with a nice little collection of hitters to build your lineup around. The difficult decision tonight will be finding that one hot starter who could notch you a 20 point fantasy performance.

For us though we elected to start building our lineup with Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce. Bruce who is coming off his big day yesterday with three hits including a double, a home run, four runs driven in and two runs scored will have a great matchup tonight against Lance Lynn. Lynn who has been solid for the St. Louis Cardinals all season has had his troubles with Bruce over his career allowing 14 hits in 28 at bats including three home runs.

Outside of Bruce tonight no other players have a huge track record in regards to home runs against starters they are facing off against. Teammate Joey Votto has eight hits in 16 career at bats off of Lynn, while third baseman Todd Frazier is hitting just .154 off of him but has three home runs. Another player who has the average is Josh Hamilton who is 6 for 10 life time against Ivan Nova with three extra base hits.

Here is our MLB FanDuel Lineup for Monday July 27th, 2015.

P – Anibal Sanchez ($8,700): Looking at fantasy success landed us with Sanchez as the Detroit Tigers head to Tampa Bay. Sanchez has posted double digit fantasy numbers in eight straight ball games. Outside of Sanchez, a few FanDuel bargains to look at include Kevin Gausman for the Baltimore Orioles, Joe Kelly for the Boston Red Sox and Kyle Kendricks for the Chicago Cubs.

C – Brian McCann ($3,100): McCann is a perfect option tonight as the New York Yankees head to take on the Texas Rangers. The Ballpark at Arlington has always been a hitter’s ballpark and McCann is due for a big game.

First Base – Paul Goldschmidt ($4,700): We elected to go with the top offensive threat at any of the positions in Goldschmidt. The Diamondbacks first baseman is riding an eight game hitting streak but has not hit a home run in his last ten games. Tonight could be the night as the Diamondbacks head to Seattle to take on the Mariners.

Second Base – Jonathan Schoop ($2,200): Monitor the MLB Lineups as they come out this afternoon to ensure Schoop is in the lineup. If so we love his value at $2,200 for a potential power threat at second base and enters tonight’s contest with three hits in his last seven at bats.

Third Base – Kyle Seager ($3,000): The Mariners third baseman is been hot at the plate over his last six games. In that stretch, Seager has five multi-hit games while putting together while hitting .392 with three doubles, one home run and seven runs scored.

Short Stop – J.J. Hardy ($2,700): Hardy enters tonight’s contest against the Atlanta Braves riding a nine game hitting streak. Now for us we would love to see the power start to show up that Hardy has shown over the first part of his career as well as his first few years in Baltimore.

Outfielder – Jay Bruce ($3,300): No need to really explain this move as Bruce has some of the best numbers against an opposing pitcher in all of baseball tonight. Only thing to monitor is the trade market in case the Reds elect to trade him.

Outfielder – Josh Hamilton ($2,800): Much like Bruce, Hamilton is a great play based off of his career performance against Ivan Nova. Hamilton has been a hot/cold fantasy play this season as he has put together a few solid performances.

Outfielder – J.D. Martinez ($4,100): Since we built our lineup with some extra cash available you could use any outfielder you would like in this spot. We love Martinez’s abilty to hit the long ball something he has not done in his last five games. Despite that we love Martinez tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays.
