Goldschmidt currently holds the second highest batting average in the league at .343 only trailing Dee Gordon. The Diamondbacks first baseman is tied for fourth in home runs with 16 as well as tied for first with 47 runs batted in. Gonzalez on the other hand is fifth in batting average, ninth in home runs and fifth in runs batted in.

These two superstars should deliver some offensive firepower for many FanDuel MLB Lineups on Monday June 8th.

Here is our complete MLB FanDuel lineup for tonight.

P – Cole Hamels ($9,900): The Philadelphia Phillies ace has been brilliant for fantasy owners this season including his current six game stretch of double digit fantasy outings. Tonight Hamels will get a shot at a Cincinnati Reds team that is hitting just .184 off of him in 136 at bats with only two home runs and 34 strikeouts.

C – Nick Hundley ($2,700): Looking at the MLB action taking place the first area we wanted to look at was which games were being played at hitter’s ball parks. That landed us with the St. Louis Cardinals contest against the Colorado Rockies. Hundley offers you a solid bat with some salary cap relief. Monitor the lineups to ensure he is the starting catcher if not consider going with Carlos Ruiz for the Phillies.

First Base – Paul Goldschmidt ($5,500): We went back and forth on this pick eventually landing with Goldschmidt. The Diamondbacks first baseman is putting together an MVP like season together in 2015 and has seven games with over 3.5 fantasy points. In the end you could go either direction especially if you are looking for a player that costs a few dollars less.

Second Base – Jedd Gyorko ($2,200): Much like we recommended with Hundley, monitor the lineups this evening. While Gyorko has struggled at times this season he showed last season he could be one of the better young second basemen in the game.

Third Base – Mike Moustakas ($2,400): The Kansas City Royals third baseman has the highest batting among American League third baseman helping him lead all vote getters for the AL All-Star team. The Royals third baseman has six straight games with a positive fantasy output.

Short Stop – Eduardo Escobar ($2,300): One option you could consider is going with Gonzalez at first base to use Troy Tulowitzki at home. That being said the Twins short stop has three game’s with at least three fantasy points over his last five games in the lineup.

Outfielder – Alex Rios ($2,600): Sometimes you just have to go with how a player has performed against a certain opponent. That is the case with Rios as the Royals will face off against the Minnesota Twins starter Phil Hughes tonight. Rios is 13 for 27 off of Hughes in his career one home run and five runs driven in.

Outfielder – Carlos Gonzalez ($3,700): Looking for a hot player to ride tonight that player could be Cargo for the Rockies at home at Coors Field. Gonzalez has been red hot of late picking up nine hits over his last five games with one double, two home runs, four runs batted in and two runs scored. In that stretch Gonzalez has posted fantasy games of 4.5, 3.25, 1.5, 9.5 and 6.5 for his fantasy owners.

Outfielder – Starling Marte ($3,700): Sticking with a few players that are hot have landed us with Marte for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Marte has put together two solid fantasy games over his last three games including a 12.75 output on Friday.
