NFL FanDuel Lineup for Week 12 of the 2016 Season

Fanduel NFL General 2016-2017 728X90

The NFL Thanksgiving Trio is in the books as the 2016 Season rolls into another action packed Sunday. This weekend the Daily Fantasy action will continue to heat up despite the fact the option pull is lighter due to having four additional teams play on Thursday.

That being said this Sunday’s Lineup of NFL games is still filled with top tier fantasy options to build around. One of those top tier fantasy options we like this week is Eli Manning as he will look to take advantage of a Cleveland Browns defense that ranks near the bottom in every major statistic while allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Meanwhile building a lineup around Manning would open up the door to add Odell Beckham Jr as our top option at the wide receiver position. The last of the big three positions is the running back position where you have both Todd Gurley and Jay Ajayi as build around caliber options.

Along with these four top tier fantasy options here is our complete list of FanDuel options during week 12.

Starting Quarterback – Eli Manning & Russell Wilson

For us this weekend we could have easily gone with a few options at the quarterback position including both Manning and Wilson. Manning has the slight edge for us this weekend but we also like Wilson as he will need to carry the offense of the Seattle Seahawks in week 12.

Quarterback Fantasy Sleeper: Brock Osweiler

Starting Running Backs – Jay Ajayi, David Johnson & Todd Gurley

As the 2016 NFL season continues to roll along one trend continues to show up week in and week out. That trend is you have to stick with the top tier options at running back or you will not be in the running to take home cash Sunday Night. This weekend we love these three backs as they look to take advantage of week defenses . For Ajayi they get a crack at a San Francisco 49ers team that ranks 1st in fantasy points allowed to opposing backs while Gurley gets a crack at the fourth ranked New Orleans Saints.

Running Back Fantasy Sleeper: Kenneth Dixon

Starting Wide Receiver – Odell Beckham Jr, Julio Jones & Kendall Wright

Now this trio will only work if you have elected to go with someone other than Davis Johnson at the running back position or a cheaper number two back. For us Beckham is an automatic option with Manning at quarterback while Jones has posted at least 18 fantasy points in four of his last five games. The last of the option is one of our fantasy sleeper options that helped us save some salary cap space. Wright has posted at least seven fantasy points in four straight games but has been targeted at least five times in three of the Titans last five games.

Wide Receiver Fantasy Sleeper: Tavon Austin

Starting Tight End – Dennis Pitta

We tossed around a few names that we liked this weekend at tight end but we couldn’t pass up on Pitta in a must win game for the Baltimore Ravens. Entering this game the Cincinnati Bengals are allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season after allowing 599 yards receiving with six touchdown grabs. Along with Pitta we suggest looking at Tyler Eifert and Antonio Gates.

Tight End Fantasy Sleeper: Clive Walford

Starting Kicker – Greg Zuerlein

Looking at the matchups this weekend we considered going with Stephen Gostkowski and Justin Tucker along with the St. Louis Rams kicker. In the end we went with Zuerlein based on his matchup against a struggling New Orleans Saints defense and the fact he will be kicking inside a dome with no weather elements.

Other Kickers to consider include: Justin Tucker & Stephen Gostkowski

Defense – Tennessee Titans

The defense position simply came down to the quarterback situation for each game and the potential that they could put together on the field this weekend. In the end we like the Titans defense to continue to force problems on a Chicago Bears offense that just can’t get it together without a top tier starting quarterback under center.

Other Defenses to consider include: New England Patriots and New York Giants
