NHL FanDuel Lineup for Tuesday February 7th 2017

fanduel nhl 10-11-2016

The daily fantasy action turns to the ice on Tuesday Night with an exciting eleven game slate. A slate that features some of the NHL top Daily Fantasy Options including Braden Holtby between the pipes, Alex Ovechkin at the wing position and Sidney Crosby at center.

The big question tonight is which of these big name super stars are worth the high salary cap hit while also building a solid lineup from top to bottom. One big name fantasy star we like tonight is Max Pacioretty for the Montreal Canadians going up against a Colorado Avalanche team that is allowing a league high in goals scored.

The other key NHL Fantasy Option we like tonight is Pacioretty’s teammate Carey Price who is slated to start at goalie. Price will look to continue his recent success as he has posted over 16 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Tonight he will get a chance to build on those performances against an Avalanche team that is scoring just around two goals a game.

Here is our NHL Daily Fantasy Options for Tuesday February 7th, 2017.

Center – Sidney Crosby & Darren Helm

Crosby might be the best fantasy option tonight as he looks to lead his Pittsburgh Penguins to a big win at home against the Calgary Flames. Crosby enters tonight’s show down coming off an impressive 38.4 point fantasy performance in his last outing while topping the double digit fantasy mark in four of his last six games. Meanwhile to off set some of Crosby’s salary cap number we elected to go with Helm as a nice cheap option that has the potential to produce double digit fantasy numbers.

Other Center Fantasy Options we like include Tyler Seguin, Ryan Kesler and Henrik Zetterberg.

Winger – Patrick Eaves, Mitchell Marner, Jason Zucker & Brandon Saad

As we built our roster today we strongly looked at Alex Ovechkin as a weapon to team up with Crosby. In the end we elected to spread the money around at the position while landing with a few solid fantasy options. One of those options is Patrick Eaves tonight as he looks to take advantage of a Toronto Mapleleafs defense that has struggled against opposing wingers this season. Over his last six games, Eaves has posted at least 11 fantasy points in four of those contests including two games over 25 fantasy points. Meanwhile Marner has been hot over his last four games posting over 16.8 fantasy points including a strong 31.7 point fantasy point mark.

Other Wingers Fantasy Options we like include Alex Ovechkin, Jamie Benn and Mathieu Perreault.

Defenseman – Nikita Zaitsev & Ryan Ellis

Now depending on where you elect to spend the money at the other positions you may be in the position to go with someone like Brent Burns or Victor Hedman. In the end we elected to save the extra cash at these two positions by going with both Zaitsev and Ellis. Tonight these two options both have solid fantasy matchups as Zaitsav will look to take advantage of a Dallas Stars team that ranks 2nd in fantasy points allowed to opposing defenseman while Ellis will look to capitalize against a Vancouver team that ranks 10th.

Other Defenseman Fantasy Options we like include Brent Burns, Victor Hedman and Shea Weber.

Goalie – Carey Price

In the end while we strongly like Braden Holtby we elected to go with Price based on his matchup against a Avalanche team that is struggling to put the puck in the Nets. In their first matchup back in December, Price was solid allowing just one goal while picking up just 15 saves in route to a 20 point fantasy performance.

Other Goalie Fantasy Options we like include Braden Holtby & Matt Murray
