NHL FanDuel Lineup for Tuesday November 14th 2017

The 2017-18 NHL schedule takes center ice on Tuesday November 14th as FanDuel owners look to cash in on the heavy slate. A slate that features a total of 16 teams in action including some of the top teams and some of the top NHL fantasy options on FanDuel. With the light slate on the hardwood, many daily fantasy owners on FanDuel will turn to ice on FanDuel.

Before we look deeper at which NHL fantasy options we like, here is a look at the eight contests taking to the ice on Tuesday November 14th, 2017.

Buffalo Sabres @ Pittsburgh Penguins
Columbus Blue Jackets @ Montreal Canadians
Dallas Stars @ Florida Panthers
Philadelphia Flyers @ Minnesota Wild
Washington Capitals @ Nashville Predators
Arizona Coyotes @ Winnipeg Jets
Vegas Golden Knights @ Edmonton Oilers
Vancouver Canucks @ Los Angeles Kings

With this slate looking promising, we expect to see a ton of scoring going on around the NHL to provide some solid fantasy production. Of the 16 teams in action on Tuesday Night, five of the top six teams in goals allowed per contests are in action (Coyotes, Panthers, Penguins, Sabres& Canadians).

With that all said here is alook at our Daily Fantasy Hockey lineup options for Tuesday November 14th, 2017.

FanDuel NHL – Centers

Anze Kopitar & Christian Dvorak

The top tier options are endless at the center position as Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby and Tyler Seguin all look like options to build around. While they all look great cash options we expect to see them all three in many lineups this opened up the door for us to go with a few other options that are a little cheaper. One of those option sis Kopitar who over $2k less than all three of those options but has been as good as any of them. The Kings center enters Tuesday Nights contest with eight straight double-digit performances. Meanwhile looking at the numbers Dvorak should have opportunities against a Jets team that is allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Top Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Connor McDavid & Sidney Crosby
Mid Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Vincent Trocheck&Eric Staal
Sleeper NHL Fantasy Options – Bryan Little, ValtteriFlilppula& Adrian Kempe

FanDuel NHL – Wings

Blake Wheeler, Evander Kane, Alexander Radulov & Conor Sheary

When looking at the center position we had Alexander Ovechkin as our top option but elected against him in our main roster but still expect to slot him in. That being said we spread the money around electing to go with Wheeler who has a really solid matchup against a Coyotes team that has struggled against both left and right wingers this season. Following Wheeler, I elected to go with Kane who will look to take advantage of a Penguins defense that is allowing 3.53 goals per contest opening the door up for scoring opportunities. Meanwhile both Radulov and Sheary both have matchups against teams that rank in top three in fantasy points allowed to their respective positions.

Top Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Alex Ovechkin, Jamie Benn & Flip Forsberg
Mid Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Jake Guentzel, Nikolaj Ehlers & Jason Zucker
Sleeper NHL Fantasy Options –Kyle Connor, Devin Shore & Bryan Rust

FanDuel NHL – Defenseman

Jacob Trouba & Jared Spurgeon

In order to take advantage of some of the top tier scoring options at both the winger slots and center position you have to spend cheap on the defensive side. With that said, we love both Trouba and Spurgeon as options under the $5k mark who could reward us with a double digit fantasy performance. For these two guys, they are taking on the number one and number two teams in action on Tuesday Night in regards to points allowed to opposing defenseman. Trouba enters with two double digit performances over his last five games while Spurgeon has at least 11 points in three of his last four outings.

Top Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Kris Letang
Mid Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Dustin Byfuglien, Ryan Suter & Alec Martinez
Sleeper NHL Fantasy Options –Olli Maatta& Derek Forbort

FanDuel NHL – Goalie

Connor Hellebuyck

The goalie position is one of those slots where we could physically flip a coin between five or six options. In the end, we couldn’t look past Hellebuyck as he looks to bounce back after struggling in his last start. On Tuesday, the Jets goalie will get a shot to post another big time fantasy performance against a Coyotes team that is averaging a league low 2.32 goals per game and have netted just 44 over their first 19 contests including scoring fewer than two goals in each of their last five contests.

Top Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Jonathan Quick & Sergei Bobrovsky
Mid Tier NHL Fantasy Options – Steve Mason (If he gets the nod)
Sleeper NHL Fantasy Options –Chad Johnson (If he gets the nod)
