The start of the 2015 NFL season is speeding towards us as we get ready for the opening kickoff on September 10th, 2015. This kickoff also kicks off another year of daily fantasy football with hundreds of opportunities each week to take home big cash prizes.

While most daily fantasy sports players know of both FanDuel and DraftKings many do not know of all the other excellent sites to cash in each week. That will all change after you get a chance to take a look at the list of our top Daily Fantasy contests for the 2015 NFL season.

Now before you go rushing off to draft Andrew Luck against the Buffalo Bills or Adrian Peterson against the San Francisco 49ers you need to take the time to do your research. With that being said here is our top NFL Daily Fantasy Contests for the first week of the 2015 NFL season.

DraftKings : NFL $10M Millionaire Maker

Total Winners: 125,700th place

The top Fantasy Football Contest on our list is presented by DraftKings with the top prize paying out $2 million dollars with the second place prize coming in at $1 million. Last year FanDuel only paid out a million dollar top prize at the end of the 2015 NFL season. This year the site will offer fantasy owners a chance to take home a million dollar prize in week 1 while taking part in the $5m NFL Sunday Million contest. Like DraftKings, the entry fee is over twenty dollars but for a chance to take home seven figures it is well worth it. Along with first place, second place takes home $350k, third place takes home $150k and fourth place takes home $100k. In all 46,000 people walk away with at least $40 after week 1 of the 2015 NFL season.

Fantasy Aces : $50k Hail Mary

Entry Fee: $22 Per Entry (Multiple Entries Allowed)

Total Winners: 450th place

Fantasy aces has been around for some time but many fantasy owners overlook the site. Now with that being said the lineup is constructed based around two quarterbacks, which is a totally different concept from the basic fantasy football league. Now this contest is much smaller than the other sites with the max signups set at just 2,500 entries meaning you have less people to beat out to take home a cash prize. The downside is the top prize payout is $5k and not a million dollars like the top two sites. In the end that won’t scare us off as the top five fantasy owners take home at least $1k while the last payout spot at 450th place nearly doubles there money taking home a prize of $40.

Other notable daily fantasy contest include:

Victiv:  $100k First Down –($10 Per Entry) – Top Prize Payout $10k

FanDuel:  $1 Million Sun NFL Rush –($5 Per Entry) – Top Prize Payout $100k

DraftKings: NFL $1 Million Kickoff Million ($3 Per Entry) – Top Prize Payout $100k

DraftDay : The Frenzy –($27 Per Entry) –Top Prize Payout $2k
