Daily fantasy sports has seen a volcanic like eruption in growth for the industry, as more and more people are becoming a part of this growth for Daily Fantasy Sports. In the age where mobile devices provide swift and unfettered internet services and seamless connectivity, there is no reason to believe that various celebrities and other personalities are not a part of this torrent of players as well.

Comedian and Actor Paul Rudd, who most recently played the part of Marvel’s tiniest Super Hero known as Ant-Man, is actually a huge fantasy baseball fan. Many of the moviegoers will recognize that his character in the movie “Knocked Up” was also daily fantasy sports fan.

Rapper and now a movie star thanks to his supporting roles in the big and bombastic installments in the “Fast and The Furious” franchise, “Ludacris” is also a huge Atlanta Braves supporter and a daily fantasy sports player. Elizabeth Banks from the hit TV show “30 Rock”, and the famous supermodel Kate Upton are some of the few high names that play for the big prize on “The Million Dollar Finish”, a game based on predicting the result of qualifying races for the Breeder’s Cup Classic.

Comedian and actor, Jason Bateman not only plays Daily Fantasy Sports, but owns his own Fantasy Baseball League. Fellow actor Jerry Ferrara, from “Entourage” also frequents the Fantasy Sports scene. Actress Liz Loza, who plays a role on the ABC:s show called “Scandal”. Another TV actor, Scott Porter, known for his role on popular college football show known as “Friday Night Lights”, discussed his love for fantasy sports on the Fantasy Sports Radio.

And if you thought actors, actresses, musicians and models were the only people playing the Fantasy sports game, the athletes are on it too. C.C. Sabathia of the New York Yankees jumps to his laptop whenever he gets the opportunity. LeBron James, one of the premier NBA players, is also an avid fantasy sports player. The running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL, Maurice Jones-Drew, also manages to find time for satisfying his fantasy sports cravings.

Same goes for NASCAR Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Mike Miller playing for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA, happens to be a big fantasy sports player himself. If that was not enough, former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddel spends time playing fantasy sports when not operating for the UFC post fighting career. Matt Hasslreback, the quarterback of the NFL Indianapolis Colts owns his very own fantasy football league.

Well that’s all for now, but this list is in no way exhaustive, there are other actors and musicians and actual sports players and athletes who themselves make time to play a little daily fantasy sports during their down time.
