MLB FanDuel Lineup for Saturday September 17th 2016

Fanduel 5 free entries 24-08-2016

The month of September continues to roll but that won’t stop the MLB action from heating up. The same can said about the daily fantasy baseball action on FanDuel as fans look to take advantage of the final few week of the 2016 MLB season as postseason baseball is just around the corner.

That being said we are blessed with a heavy ten game slate on Saturday Night to build our daily fantasy lineups around. Now as we start to look at players to build our lineup around the first name on our list is third baseman Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Longoria enters the weekend hot as he has posted 28.2 and 35.7 fantasy points in his first two games of a four game series against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. Overall Longoria is five for nine in the series with two home runs and seven runs batted in.

Along with Longoria here is the rest of the top MLB FanDuel Options for tonight!

FanDuel Starting Pitcher Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers: The lists of top tier fantasy starters are thin tonight outside of the Texas Rangers ace. Ovearl Darvish has been great for his fantasy owners posting over 40 fantasy points in four of his last six games. One of those performances came against this same Oakland A’s team where he finished with 54 total points.

Other FanDuel Starting Pitcher option to consider is Jeff Samardzija.

Fantasy Sleeper Option: Jose Urena

FanDuel Catcher Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Yadier Molina, St. Louis Cardinals: Looking at hiter/pitcher matchup numbers landed us with the Cardinals catcher. Molina has gone 10 for 22 in his career against Samardzija.

Other FanDuel Catcher Options include Matt Wieters and J.T. Realmuto.

FanDuel First Base Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Will Myers, San Diego Padres: Myers lands as the top option at first base tonight as he looks to continue to take advantage of Coors Field. The Padres first baseman managed to pickup two hits last night with one going for a home run. Tonight we expect the Padres/Colorado Rockies game to be one of the higher scoring contests around MLB.

Other FanDuel First Base Options include Adrian Gonzalez and Brandon Belt.

FanDuel Second Base Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Carlos Sanchez, Chicago White Sox: Sanchez continues to be a big time fantasy surprise for his fantasy owners. That included anyone that plugged him in their lineups on Friday Night as he connected on his  first home run of the season while posting his second 20 plus fantasy performance over the past four games.

Other FanDuel Second Base Options include Jonathan Schoop and DJ LeMahieu.

FanDuel Third Base Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Evan Longoria, Tampa Bay Rays: This might have been the easiest of the fantasy plays tonight. The Rays third base man has been red hot at Camden Yards and will face off against Chris Tillman who he has owned in his career. Longoria is 17 for 60 in his career of the Orioles starter with seven career home runs.

Other FanDuel Third Base Options include Manny Machado and Noland Arenado.

FanDuel Short Stop Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Brandon Crawford, San Francisco Giants: Riding the career numbers landed us with the Giants short stop. Crawford is seven for 20 in his career off of Mike Leake with two home runs and nine runs batted in.

Other FanDuel Short Stop Options include Freddy Galvis and Troy Tulowitzki.

FanDuel Outfielder Options Saturday September 17th, 2016

Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado Rockies: The Rockies are at home this weekend making Cargo a top fantasy option among outfielders. Entering tonight Gonzalez is hitting .327 on the season with 18 home runs to go with 61 runs batted in. Look to ride two or three Rockies tonight as our stack of the night.

Brandon Drury, Arizona Diamondbacks: Drury continues to swing a hot bat picking up one hit last night to push his hit streak to eight games. Over that stretch, Drury has posted six double digit fantasy performances while picking up four home runs.

Curtis Granderson, New York Mets: While Granderson has seen his batting average dip to under .230 on the year he still continues to be a threat at the plate as he sits with 26 home runs. Tonight he will look to continue his success against Ervin Santana who he has five career home runs against.

Other FanDuel Outfielder Options include Mark Trumbo, Hunter Pence, Travis Jankowski, Josh Reddick and Norichika Aoki.
