MLB FanDuel Lineup for Thursday May 26th, 2016

Fanduel MLB 728x90

The beginning of summer for many of us get underway as Memorial Day Weekend kicks off on Friday and wrapping up on Monday. For us nothing beats paying our respect to what Memorial Day truly means while spending time with the important people in your life, cooking out and cashing in on some daily fantasy baseball.

Now before the weekend gets here we all have to get through Thursday but that won’t slow us down as we look to cash in a very thin five game slate of Major League Baseball games taking to the hill. Along with the thin slate the St. Louis Cardinals/Washington Nationals, Milwaukee Brewers/Atlanta Braves and the Chicago White Sox/Kansas City Royals games all have a potential for rain in their forecast.

As we start to look at the five game slate much of the same problems consist as we struggle to find a big time fantasy threat on the mound. Of the ten potential starters on May 26th, 2016 none are averaging more than 28.1 fantasy points per game this season while five of them are averaging less than 25 per contest.

FanDuel Hitters We Like On Thursday Night

Jose Abreu, Chicago White Sox: The Chicago White Sox first baseman is a solid option at the plate on Thursday Night going up against Danny Duffy of the Kansas City Royals. Entering this meeting Abreu has picked up seven hits in 19 career at bats off the Royals starter including one of those hits going for a home run.

Jackie Bradley Jr, Boston Red Sox; Now we hope our confidence in him against the Colorado Rockies doesn’t help his hit streak come to an end. That being said Bradley has been red hot of late during his current 29 game hitting streak posting at least 12 fantasy points in six of his last eight games.

Pitchers We Like On Thursday Night

Kevin Gausman, Baltimore Orioles: The options on the mound are thin on Thursday May 26th, 2016 leaving us with only a few solid fantasy options. One of those options is the Baltimore Orioles starter who has picked up at least 33 fantasy points in four of his first six starts of the season after missing most of the first month with an injury.

Matt Wisler, Atlanta Braves: Wisler is one of those high risk, high reward type of fantasy option at the starting pitcher slot. Now we strongly recommend monitoring the weather situation in this contest as they are calling for 50% chance of showers from before the first pitch up through most of the evening. If the game is a go Wisler is worth the chance as he has turned in fantasy performances of 50, 37, 21 and 48 over his last four starts.

The Stack List:

Danny Espinosa/Wilson Ramos/Jayson Werth, Washington Nationals: These three guys have been able to put together some productive at bats against Mike Leake in their careers combing to go 15 for 55 with five home runs and 10 runs batted in. Some of that success came earlier this season when Espinosa went 2 for 4 off of him with a home run while Werth went 1 for 3 with one run batted in.

Chris Davis/Pedro Alvarez/Matt Wieters, Baltimore: After failing to produce any big time production in their first two games against the Houston Astros we have a strong feeling the O’s bats are ready to come to life and with a righty on the hill we stacked the lefties together. The three have combined to hit four home runs over their past five games giving us a true power threat.
