MLB FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday April 26th 2017

Fanduel General banner 26-04-2017The 2017 MLB Season rolls into the last week of April with a heavy 12 game slate taking to the diamond tonight. A slate that looks to deliver some very nice Daily Fantasy Baseball options to build around including a solid list of starters who will be talking the hill for there respective clubs.

One of those starters will be Noah Syndergaard for the New York Mets who will look to lead his club to another win over the Atlanta Braves tonight. Syndergaard enters tonight’s as one of only four starters who are averaging over 40 fantasy points a start this season. That success has shown up in three of his four starts where he has posted at least 43 with his only disappointing start going for 31 fantasy points.

While Syndergaard headlines to top line of Daily Fantasy Baseball Options on the mound the list of candidates at the plate is pretty solid as well. One slate that should see a ton of action tonight features the Washington Nationals taking on the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.  Simply based on the fact this contest is at one of the top hitters ball parks you could go with a variety of options including Bryce Harper, Carlos Gonzalez, Daniel Murphy, Ryan Zimmerman and Nolan Arenado.

A few of the other teams we like tonight to build around include the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. All three of those teams have hit the opposing team starter well in there career making them solid candidates to build our lineup around tonight.

Here is our top Daily Fantasy Baseball Options for Wednesday April 26th, 2017.

Starting Pitcher – Noah Syndergaard

In the end Syndergaard brings the most consistency to the top line starters and one that should be a solid candidate to turn in at least 30 plus fantasy points on most nights. Add that with the fact he has not gone fewer than six innings in each of his first four starts makes hi one to play in both Cash & GPP lineups. Along with that the New York Mets starter went six innings while striking out seven Atlanta Braves in his first start of the season. Other candidates I like include Dylan Bundy (monitor rain) and James Paxton.

Top Tier Option: Noah Syndergaard

Mid Tier Option: Dylan Bundy & Jamex Paxton

Fantasy Sleeper: Tyler Glasnow or Daniel Norris

Catcher – Chris Herrmann

Now the catcher position will continue to be an interesting position for us as we tend to go very cheap here to offset a top tier starter salary. That being said if you elect to go with a fantasy sleeper like Glasnow or Norris you can spend. That being said Herrmann should get the start with a righty on the mound tonight making him a solid fantasy sleeper. Entering tonight, the Arizona Diamondbacks catcher is three for his nine in his last three starts. A little more expensive someone like Austin Hedges who has four home runs over his last seven games is a solid candidate as well.

Top Tier Option: Austin Hedges

Mid Tier Option: Matt Wieters & Tony Wolters

Fantasy Sleeper Option: Jesus Sucre & Chris Herrmann

First Base – Tommy Joseph

Fanduel MLB A new way to play fantasy baseball 26-04-2017

This selection is simply based on the fact we are gearing our lineups towards GPP formats and a potential for a bigger payday. While we love some of the more expensive options we like Joseph tonight against Wei-Yin Chen. The Miami Marlins lefty has been hit solid by righties over the last few seasons while struggling to keep the ball in the ballpark.

Top Tier Option: Ryan Zimmerman

Mid Tier Options: Chris Davis & Matt Carpenter (Weather)

Fantasy Sleeper: Tommy Joseph & Greg Bird

Second Base – Danny Espinosa

Here is another one of our Daily Fantasy Baseball plays that is simply based on freeing up some salary cap. While we could easily go with DJ LeMahieu night in and night out at Coors Field we turned to Espinosa based on the projections tonight and his fantasy salary cap number. Despite his struggles to start the season the Los Angeles Angels second baseman has the power potential to reward us in GPP tournaments. Meanwhile the other option we love at second baseman is a solid candidate as well and that is Jonathan Schoop.

Top Tier Option: DJ LeMahieu & Daniel Murphy

Mid Tier Option: Jonathan Schoop & Josh Harrison

Fantasy Sleeper: Chase Utley

Third Base – Martin Prado

The big name potential at third base tonight makes this decision a difficult one espically turning away from Nolan Arenado at home. With that said we tossed around a few options in the low to mid tier range including Prado, Jefry Marte and Maikel Franco. In the end Prado fits the salary cap need and has been solid since his return picking up six hits over 20 at bats with one of those hits a home run.

Top Tier Option: Nolan Arenado

Mid Tier Option: Manny Machado & Maikel Franco

Fantasy Sleeper: Jefry Marte

Short Stop – Nick Ahmed

Now we strongly recommend the lineups as they come out later today to ensure the Diamondbacks short stop is plugged in. If that is the case Ahmed is a solid low by high reward type option with two double digit fantasy performances over his last four games. In the end going expensive on the mound as well in the outfield limits us here leading us to look at guys like Adeiny Hechavarria and J.J. Hardy tonight.

Top Tier Opton: Trevor Story & Trey Turner

Mid Tier Option: Chris Owings

Fantasy Sleeper Option: Adeiny Hechavarria & J.J. Hardy

Outfielders – Bryce Harper, Carlos Gonzalez & Ryan Rua

The matchup at Coors Field is just to hard to pass up on tonight with a potential for a ton of scoring nearly every night of the week. That being said this turned us to Harper who has been red hot to start the season. Entering tonight, Harper has 12 double digit fantasy performances to start the season and three in his last three games with at least two at bats. Meanwhile Cargo enters tonight picking up hits in five straight games at Coors Field while posting three double digit fantasy performances. The last of our options is one of those cost cutting options with a huge upside. That option is the Texas Rangers outfielder Ryan Rua who should be in the lineup tonight. Rua enters tonight with six career hits off of Hector Santiago in 13 at bats with one of those going for a home run.

Top Tier Option: Charlie Blackmon, Nelson Cruz & Giancarlo Stanton

Mid Tier Option: Dexter Fowler (Weather) & David Peralta

Fantasy Sleeper Option: Joc Pederson & Jose Martinez (Weather)
