MLB FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday June 8th, 2016

The one big name for daily fantasy owners to remember on Wednesday Night is Madison Bumgarner. Bumgarner will take the hill for the San Francisco Giants AT&T Park tonight against one of the hotter hitting teams in all of baseball the Boston Red Sox.

For us it is hard to imagine passing up one of the games top starters on any night of baseball. That is the case for Bumgarner tonight as he enters tonight yielding at least 32 fantasy points in nine straight contests. In those nine starts the Giants ace has posted at least 50 fantasy points in six of those including two of those outings going for 68 and 69 points.

Now typically we would be excited about having a top tier fantasy starter available but tonight we are even happier as we have a solid list of top tier options to go with Bumgarner. The list also includes Max Scherzer for the Washington Nationals, Noah Syndergaard for the New York Mets, David Price for the Red Sox and Yu Darvish for the Texas Rangers.

Meanwhile at the plate we have a few hitters who have been red hot for their teams as well as their daily fantasy owners. One of those names is outfielder Mark Trumbo for the Baltimore Orioles. Entering Wednesday, Trumbo has been red hot turning in at least 18 fantasy points in six of his last seven games while picking up five home runs and 11 runs batted in.

FanDuel Hitters We Like On Wednesday Night

Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees: While the New York Yankees third baseman has struggled at times this season he has been solid of late picking up at least two hits in three of his last four games. Tonight he has a great matchup against Jered Weaver who he is hitting .379 against in his career with five career home runs.

Eduardo Nunez, Minnesota Twins: Nunez might be one of hottest hitters in all of baseball right now and it has shown up in his fantasy numbers. The Twins short stop has posted at least 27 fantasy points in three straight games as well as at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Tonight he will look to continue that success at home against the Wei-Yin Chen of the Miami Marlins.

FanDuel Pitchers We Like On Tuesday Night

Noah Syndergaard, New York Mets: Before you get down about his performance over his last few games two of those games were short including an inning of relief work and just two innings before being ejected for throwing behind Chase Utley. Incase you forgot, Utley hurt the Mets short stop last season with a  dirty slide. If you minus those two performances, Syndergaard has turned in 54, 66, 65 and 48 fantasy points in his last four starts.

Max Scherzer, Washington Nationals: For us we could have included a few of the top arms on the mound tonight. In the end we like Scherzer’s matchup while his recent stretch of fantasy performance is just to hard to pass up. The Nationals starter has turned in at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last ten outings.

The Stack List:

Baltimore Orioles: As we have said a few times over the past week or so the Orioles lineup is just to hard to pass up on. That includes a player like Pedro Alvarez who provides us all we some salary cap relief. If it wasn’t for a brilliant catch last night, Alvarez would have had his third home run over his last five games. Add in Trumbo who has been red hot as well as Chris Davis who can hit one out any night of the week and we could build our entire FanDuel lineup around them.

Scooter Gennett/ Jonathan Villar/ Ryan Braun: Looking for players who are hitting at hitter friendly ball parks landed us with the Milwaukee Brewers stack. Entering tonight Villar and Braun are both hitting above the .300 mark while Gennett has picked up back to back double digit fantasy performances.

Also consider looking at both the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds to build stacks from as well.
