NBA FanDuel Lineup for Friday December 23rd 2016

Fanduel Jingle Bowl 16-12-2016

The NBA action takes a big swing on Friday Night with a 14 game slate for daily fantasy owners to capitalize on. Friday Night’s slate of NBA games delivers three players averaging over 53 fantasy points a game this season, and nine other superstars averaging more than 40 fantasy points per contest.

At the front of that list sits Russell Westbrook who continues to deliver big time fantasy performances for his fantasy owners despite his heavy price tag. Entering the Friday Night contest against the Boston Celtics, Westbrook has turned in over 62 fantasy points in three straight games while still finding a way to return over five times his investment.

For us Friday Night is a great opportunity to build a nice stack around two of the top fantasy scorers while having a few solid fantasy sleepers to take advantage of. One of those fantasy sleepers we like is Danny Green for the San Antonio Spurs. Green enters Friday Night showdown against the Portland Trailblazers posting back to back 22 point fantasy performances.

With all that said here is our top NBA FanDuel Options for Friday December 23rd, 2016.

Point Guards – Kyrie Irving & Emmanuel Mudiay

For us we have four options we really like at the point guard position on Friday Night. While we still like the idea of plugging Westbrook in as our main build around option we couldn’t pass up the matchups that both Irving and Mudiay will enter on Friday Night. Irving will face off against a Brooklyn Nets team that ranks 1st in fantasy points per game to opposing point guards while Mudiay faces a Atlanta Hawks team that ranks 2nd. That being said Mudiay is one of those high risk high reward type of plays based on his inconsistency trends he has posted this season.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Russell Westbrook
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Dennis Schroder & Goran Dragic
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Patty Mills

Shooting Guards – Evan Fournier & Danny Green

On Friday Night the shooting guard slot is one of those positions where you can find some really solid options at a variety of salary cap price points. Two of those options we like is Fournier for the Orlando Magic and Green for the San Antonio Spurs. Fournier will look to capitalize on a Los Angeles Laker team that has had their hands full in slowing down opposing shooting guards this season while allowing the second most fantasy points to the position. Meanwhile Green is returning nearly six times his fantasy salary over the last two games and could see added minutes as the Spurs make the trip up to Portland.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: James Harden
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Brandon Knight, Zach LaVine & Sean Kilpatrick
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Garrett Temple & Iman Shumpert

Fanduel NBA Santa Slam 23-12-2016

Small Forwards – LeBron James & Andre Roberson

A combination of James and Roberson makes perfect sense when looking to build any FanDuel lineup on Friday Night. James is that near lock 40 plus fantasy performance while Roberson is the fantasy sleeper type that has produced at times for his fantasy owners. That includes producing close to six times his fantasy value in his last contest while having an even better matchup against a Boston Celtics team allowing the third most fantasy points to the small forward position.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Jimmy Butler
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Andrew Wiggins
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Power Forwards – Gorgui Dieng & LaMarcus Aldridge

One interesting option we really like on Friday Night is Gorgui Dieng against a Sacramento Kings team that is allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Add that with the fact he has posted over 30 fantasy points in two of his last four games while posting over 33 minutes in each of those contests. Our other option we like is Aldridge who will look to build on his back to back 32 plus fantasy performances against a Trailblazers team that ranks 1st in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Anthony Davis & Kevin Love
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Serge Ibaka
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Nikola Mirotic

Center Option – Marc Gasol

The typical option here would either be DeMarcus Cousins or Karl-Anthony Towns but the head to head matchup has us a little worried. Add that with the fact both of these teams rank in the bottom 15 of the league in fantasy points allowed to centers makes me want to stay away. This turned me to Gasol who is coming off a big time 55 points fantasy performance. On Friday Night Gasol should benefit in additional rebounding opportunities in a contest against a Rockets team that likes to move the ball up and down the floor.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Karl Anthony-Towns & Hassan Whiteside
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Tristan Thompson
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Mason Plumlee
