NBA FanDuel Lineup for Monday December 19th 2016

Fanduel Jingle Bowl 16-12-2016

The NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup build for Monday rides on the shoulder of one big name super star. That superstar is point guard Russell Westbrook who is one of those options you just can’t pass up on when he is on the floor. Tonight he will look to continue his fantasy dominance as he looks to lead his Oklahoma City Thunder to a win at home over the Atlanta Hawks.

Westbrook enters Monday Nights contest coming off his 13th triple double of the season as well an impressive 73.2 fantasy performance. Along with his big time success this season, Westbrook has a very favorable matchup tonight against a Hawks team that is allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing point guards in the NBA.

Now the only downside to building our Daily Fantasy Lineup around Westbrook is his commanding $12,500 salary. That being said we decided to take a look at a point guard combination that featured Westbrook while the other two takes a look at combinations with some of the other top fantasy point guards.

Point Guards – Russell Westbrook & Emmanuel Mudiay

In the end it is just to hard for us to look past Westbrook tonight based on his abilities to put up 70 fantasy points nearly any night of the week. Now the second point guard slot was a little more difficult as we looked at a few options but we like Mudiay tonight against a Denver Nuggets team allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards in the NBA.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: John Wall

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Ricky Rubio

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Jameer Nelson

Shooting Guards  – Zach LaVine & Bradley Beal

We tossed around a few combinations at the shooting guard position before landing with LaVine and Beal. LaVine has been pretty consistent this season including posting at least 28 fantasy points in five of his six games. Along with the consistency LaVine has a huge upside as he continues to play a ton of minutes including over 42 minutes in three straight games. Beal on the other hand is coming off another solid 50 point fantasy performance while stringing together his fourth game above the 33 point mark.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: All Options Are Mid Tier Level

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Will Barton

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Tim Hardaway Jr or Kyle Korver

Small Forwards – Dorian Finney-Smith & Jimmy Butler

Finney-Smith is one of those interesting options that we strongly like tonight while also providing us with some solid fantasy cap space. The Dallas Mavericks small forward continues to see above 24 minutes a night helping his fantasy value. Add that with the fact that he was able to post 34 fantasy points last week against this same Denver Nuggets team makes solidifies his spot on our roster. Than there is Butler who is the top option at the position while having the second best matchup at small forward tonight.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Paul George

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: T.J. Warren

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Andre Roberson

Power Forwards – Nikola Jokic & Marquese Chriss

Now depending on where you decided to go at a few of the other positions we could easily insert Millsap into our starting rotation. That being said we valued a few of the other positions higher while we found a few options that should provide us with some solid fantasy options who might be used in fewer lineups. Jokic has posted over 27 fantasy points in five of the last six games. Chriss on the other hand is a deep fantasy sleeper option who has seen over 24 minutes in three straight games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Paul Millsap

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Gorgui Dieng

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Marquese Chriss

Center Option – Myles Turner

Turner is our top option at the center position while Anthony-Towns is the guy to go to if you are playing in cash games. The Indiana Pacers center has seen over 30 minutes in five of his last six games while posting over 32 fantasy points in four of his last five games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Karl Anthony-Towns

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Marcin Gortat

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Robin Lopez
