The weekend has came to an end but that just means another day of daily fantasy action on FanDuel. Yes you heard that right as the NBA is still the center of attention as the NHL season is still on their All-Star break for one more day. That being said all eyes and fantasy action will take place around the NBA this Monday the first day of February.

Tonight’s lineup of NBA action features a nine game slate taking place tipping off with LeBron James leading his Cleveland Cavaliers into Indianapolis to take on the Pacers and Paul George. Meanwhile in Oklahoma City the Thunder led by Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will welcome the Washington Wizards with John Wall.

As those top fantasy stars look to carry the load tonight, another one of the top stars could miss his teams game tonight. That star is DeMarcus Cousins who left the Sacramento Kings last game after suffering a sprained ankle. Now before you rule him out or consider going with someone one else on the Kings we recommend monitoring the lineups and daily fantasy news to ensure if he will or no be in the lineup.

Now for us we are going with the idea that the Kings will give him the night off tonight. This opens up the door for a few solid fantasy options on the Kings to step up to replace his production. Two of those options could be Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein. Each of these players could see a significant increase in minutes without Cousins on the floor.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Monday February 1st, 2016.

PG – Kyle Lowry ($9,000): We could have easily gone with John Wall or Russell Westbrook as well. In the end Lowry has a very favorable matchup against a Denver Nuggets team that is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards.

PG – Reggie Jackson ($7,000): Looking at the matchups for the point guard position landed us with Jackson against the Brooklyn Nets. Entering tonight’s game the Nets are allowing the fourth most fantasy points a game to opposing point guards.

SG – Khris Middleton ($7,300): Much like the play of Jackson at the point guard position we have elected to go with Middleton based on his matchup tonight. The Milwuakee Bucks shooting guard gets a chance to face off against a Sacramento Kings team that has struggled at times slowing down opposing shooting guards.

SG – Tony Allen ($4,700): Looking for a FanDuel bargain led us to the Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard. Since missing back to back games, Allen has delivered at least 22 fantasy points in three straight games including a solid 31.9 game just a few nights back.

SF – Kevin Durant ($10,700): The list of top options at the small forward position includes Durant, James, Paul George and even Gordon Hayward. For us we went with Durant tonight against the Wizards.

SF- Macrus Morris ($5,100): Looking to spend more freely at a few of the other positions positioned us for a few cheaper options. One of those options is Morris tonight who is a solid option to post 22-26 fantasy points on most nights with an occasional big game from time to time.

PF – Jabari Parker ($5,200): Without Cousins in the middle for the Kings the Milwaukee Bucks big men should be able to put up some solid fantasy numbers. While Parker has not put up the big time fantasy numbers we expected he has posted at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games.

PF – Myles Turner ($5,200): We really like Ryan Anderson tonight for the New Orleans Pelicans. That being said, Turner has been posting between 4 and 6 time his fantasy value over the past seven games.

C- Nikola Jokic ($5,700): As long as Jokic’s fantasy value stays at this price point he will be a solid option. The Denver Nuggets center has posted at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games.
