The time has arrived for us to turn most of our attention to some daily fantasy action in the NBA. That includes Monday Night where a ten game NBA lineup gives us a ton of fantasy options to build our lineup around. A list of options that include DeMarcus Cousins, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and LeBron James to name just a few.

While that list looks great on paper the big question is which of these stars should be the center of our roster. For us the first player we decided to build our lineup around is Kevin Durant. Durant has a very favorable matchup on Monday Night against a Phoenix Suns team that is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards.

The second option we have elected to go with is Durant’s teammate Westbrook against the same Suns team that has struggled to slow down opposing point guards. Now while we love the combination the $21,900 salary between the two limits us on what we can do with our lineup.

That leaves us to look for a few fantasy sleeper options with one of them being Jordan Hill for the Indiana Pacers against the Los Angeles Lakers. Hill is a gamble nearly every night of the week but his upside is great for anyone looking to cash in on a tournament. Hill has four 30 plus fantasy performances over his last ten games including a 43.9 point fantasy performance just a few weeks back.

Here is our NBA FanDuel Lineup for Monday February 8th, 2016.

PG – Russell Westbrook ($11,100): Monday nights game against the Suns should be one if not the highest scoring contests around the NBA. That being said it makes it an easy decision to stack Westbrook and Durant on Monday Night.

PG – Reggie Jackson ($6,900): While we considered going more expensive here with someone like Kemba Walker but figured we should spread the money out evenly. Jackson has posted at least 30 fantasy points in three of the last four games.

SG – Gerald Henderson ($4,200): The Portland Trailblazers shooting guard is a solid fantasy option at under $5k. Henderson is riding three straight games with over 24 fantasy points earning him nearly six times his fantasy value.

SG – J.R. Smith ($5,300): Smith is another solid fantasy option on Monday Night against the Sacramento Kings. Entering this contest the Kings are allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards in the NBA.

SF – Kevin Durant ($10,800): Much like Westbrook, Durant is a must start option on Monday Night. Durant has been on a tear posting at least 50 plus fantasy points in six of his last ten games.

SF – Nicolas Batum ($6,700): Batum has been on a tear over the past two games posting 50.7 and 40.7 fantasy points. Look for that success to continue against the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

PF – Cody Zeller ($4,700): After missing six straight games, Zeller has returned to post at least 25 minutes per game. As long as the minutes continue to poor in for Zeller his fantasy value is a solid option at under $5k.

PF – Serge Ibaka ($5,600): Were sticking with the Thunder on Monday Night in a game that we expect a ton of scoring opportunities to present themselves. That also mean that big men should have a solid opportunity to pick up some rebounds.

C – Jordan Hill ($4,700): Hill provides us with a little salary relief but also gives us a solid fantasy sleeper option on Monday Night. While a less than 20 point fantasy performance could kill our chances at money, a 30 plus fantasy performance would help us all cash in on some money.
