NBA FanDuel Lineup for Monday March 7th 2016

The weekend is coming to an end but the daily fantasy action continues on Monday Night with a seven game NBA slate to take advantage of. That slate includes a few of the NBA’s top fantasy options including point guard Stephen Curry, center DeMarcus Cousins and small forward LeBron James to name just a few of them.

As we start to look at the options we have to build our NBA FanDuel lineup we elected to start by looking at the matchups that feature teams that have struggled to slow down opposing players. One of those matchups features the Sacramento Kings heading to New Orleans to take on Pelicans.

Not only does this game feature an over/under line of 220 but also features two teams that have struggled slowing down opposing teams. Entering this game the Kings are allowing the second most fantasy points per contest to shooting guards, second most to opposing power forwards and eighth most to opposing point guards. Meanwhile the Pelicans enter this contest allowing the second most amount of fantasy points to opposing centers.

All of this information together delivers us a few solid fantasy options from just this contest. The first of those options is Cousins who is not only one of the top fantasy options on the floor but the top center on the floor. The second option we like from this contest is Anthony Davis as the Kings have struggled to slow down opposing power forwards this season.

Now that being said the two stars carry a big salary cap hit leaving us to look for a few FanDuel Bargains. One of those options One of those options is Norris Cole at the point guard position as we expect to see him and Jrue Holiday on the floor for extended minutes with Eric Gordon with a fractured finger.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Monday March 7th, 2016.

PG – Norris Cole ($5,100): While Cole won’t fit into the typical shooting guard role we expect him to get the shot with Gordon out. Now we suggest monitoring the lineups as Cole is listed as a game time decision. If Cole misses the game you could look to Toney Douglas as a real an even cheaper fantasy option.

PG – Kemba Walker ($8,7000: Now we could have easily gone with Stephen Curry here and a cheaper option at our second small forward position. In the end we valued the extra cash and Walker has been hot posting over 40 fantasy points in three straight games for his fantasy owners.

SG – Iman Shumpert ($3,900): We are going to take the gamble with the fact that the Cavaliers will ride another small lineup on Monday Night. Shumpert has posted back to back games with at least 30 minutes something that helped him reward fantasy owners with a 39.2 performance in his last outing.

SG – Andrew Wiggins ($6,100): Wiggins is an interesting option at the shooting guard position. The Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard is coming off a 40.8 performance in his last outing but he has also failed to reach 20 fantasy points in two of his last four games.

SF – Mike Dunleavy ($3,800): The Chicago Bulls small forward has a very favorable matchup on Monday Night against a Milwaukee Bucks team allowing the sixth most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. The move allows us to free up some additional salary cap space.

SF –Chandler Parsons ($6,900): The debate could be made for Parsons as well as for Rudy Gay. While we like them both we have elected to go with Parsons on Monday Night against the Los Angeles Clippers in a game that should see some points scored by both teams.

PF – Anthony Davis ($9,900): This might have been on of the easier fantasy picks for Monday Night. Davis has one of the top fantasy matchups at the power forward position while giving us a chance at 40 plus fantasy points nearly every night of the week.

PF – Cody Zeller ($4,800): Zeller is another cheap option but a solid fantasy option on Monday Night. The Charlotte Hornets power forward has posted three straight solid games including a 32.2 point fantasy performance just two games ago.

C – DeMarcus Cousins ($10,700): Not that we needed a reason to go with Cousins on any night but his matchup against a very bad Pelicans defense makes him a great fantasy option on Monday Night.
