NBA FanDuel Lineup for Thursday January 26 2017

Fanduel NBA WFBBC 2017 08-01-2017

The Daily Fantasy Basketball options are thin on Thursday Night but one name that will be atop everyone’s wish list Russell Westbrook. With only four games taking to the hardwood on Thursday Night, Westbrook is the best fantasy option available as he continues to average over 57 fantasy points per contest.

The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard has been brilliant for Daily Fantasy Owners nearly every night of the week. This includes over the past four games where he has posted at least 62 fantasy points in three of those four contests. Now before you jump all in with Westbrook on Thursday Night you might want to take a deeper look at his potential matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.

Entering their show down on Thursday Night the Mavericks sit at the top of the NBA in fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. This includes holding George Hill to just 13.7 fantasy points, Jordan Clarkson to just 11.6 fantasy points while Goran Dragic scorched them for 41.2 fantasy points over their last three games.

With that said it will be very difficult for us to look past Westbrook as we build our NBA FanDuel Lineup on Thursday Night. Here is our complete list of Daily Fantasy Basketball Options for Thursday January 26th, 2017.

Point Guards – Eric Bledsoe & George Hill

In the end we put a ton of value on Westbrook, Bledsoe and Hill at the point guard position on Thursday Night. Westbrook is almost as guaranteed a 50 plus fantasy point performance night in and night out. Meanwhile Bledsoe will look to take advantage of a Denver Nuggets team that is allowing the second most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing point guards. Hill will also look to take advantage of his very favorable fantasy matchup against a very bad Los Angeles Lakers defense.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Russell Westbrook

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Ricky Rubio

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Jameer Nelson

Shooting Guards – Will Barton & Devin Booker

With a very thin group of solid options at the shooting guard position it is one of those positions where you can solid mid tier options. For us two of those options are Barton and Booker as they go head to head. Despite Barton’s recent struggles he continues to be one of those fantasy options that has the potential to reward us with a 6 to 8 time fantasy performance. Booker on the other hand has turned in over 30 fantasy points in six of his last ten games.

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Zach LaVine

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Seth Curry

Small Forwards – T.J. Warren & Andrew Wiggins

For us the small forward position might be the deepest of the positions to build around on Thursday Night. This group includes both Gordon Hayward and Paul George as the top options while we continue to love Wiggins on most nights as he continues to see a ton of minutes. Wiggins enters Thursday Night with three straight agmes with at least 35 fantasy points including 44.7 in his last outing against the Phoenix Suns. Warren on the other hand is a high risk high reward type of fantasy sleeper needed to take home a GPP tournament.

Power Forwards – Enes Kanter & Thaddeus Young

With no sure lock in fantasy options at the power forward position we decided to turn these two mid tier options. Kanter has posted over 30 fantasy points in four of his last six games with one of those games touching 46.4 points. Then you have Young who has a high upside but has also been fairly consistent posting at least 33 fantasy points in three of his last five games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: N/A

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Julius Randle & Gorgui Dieng

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Derrick Favors

Center Option – Rudy Gobert

As we built our FanDuel Lineup options for Thursday Night we tossed around just two names for most of our lineups. Those two players were Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert with the Jazz’s center getting our nod simply based on his salary cap numbers as well as his fantasy matchup against the Lakers. Gobert has posted over 31 fantasy points in five of his last six games with three of those games going over the 47 point fantasy mark.

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Steven Adams

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Al Jefferson
