NBA FanDuel Lineup for Tuesday December 12th 2017

The cold winter months of winter have arrived as the action on FanDuel continues to heat up. That action continues tonight with a solid seven game slate on the NBA Schedule and a nine game slate on the NHL Schedule. For us we will be paying extra close attention to the NBA schedule tonight as we look to take home some cash in many of the GPP tournaments on FanDuel.

As we look at tonight’s lineup of daily fantasy basketball options we have a few solid candidates to build around including LeBron James, Ben Simmons and Karl-Anthony Towns while Joel Embiid could be an interesting option if he returns from an injury. James enters tonight’s contest posting at least 59 fantasy points in three straight contests. Simmons has topped the 40 point fantasy mark in five of the Philadelphia 76ers last seven contests while Towns is riding back to back 50 plus fantasy performances.

While each of those guys are great options and even look great stacking together, tonight’s NBA schedule has some other great fantasy matchups. Here are a few of those daily fantasy basketball options we like tonight.

Marcin Gortart ($4,700) – The Washington Wizards have a few solid fantasy options tonight including John Wall if he returns to the court. For us Gortart might be the more logical options as he looks to take on Brooklyn Nets team that has struggled on both sides of the floor. Entering tonight the Nets rank third in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers.

Zach Randolph ($7,500) – The aging veteran continues to play at a high level this season for the Sacramento Kings. For Randolph tonight he should be able to exploit a very bad Phoenix Suns team that currently ranks first in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards.

Here is a look at our NBA FanDuel options for Friday December 1st, 2017.

Point Guards Options for FanDuel on December 12th, 2017

De’Aaron Fox ($4,700) – The point guard position might be the weakest of all the positions on the floor tonight with or without John Wall on the floor. While Wall could be an interesting option, we valued mid-tier to sleeper type picks at the point guard position tonight opening the door up for Fox. The Kings point guard has an ideal matchup against a very bad Suns defense (1st in fantasy points allowed to point guards) and a team that allows a ton of points.

Jarrett Jack ($4,800)– Jack is an interesting option for us tonight in the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks. Jack enters tonight with a high upside and a very solid fantasy matchup against a bad Lakers defense. The Lakers enter tonight’s contest ranked sixth in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to point guards. While we stayed away from him Lonzo Ball is one more expensive option we would also consider tonight.

Other Top Tier Point Guard Options: John Wall (Injury)
Other Mid-Tier Point Guard Options: Lonzo Ball &Jamal Murray
Other Fantasy Sleeper Point Guard Options: Ish Smith

Shooting Guard Options for FanDuel on December 12th, 2017

Buddy Hield ($5,500): Sticking with the Kings we elected to go with another mid to low price option in Hield. While Hield has been up and down for most of the 2017 NBA schedule he has been fairly constant of late topping the 20 point fantasy mark in four straight games including back to back 34 and 35 point fantasy performances. Tonight, he will look to build on that success against a Suns defense that ranks second in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to shooting guards.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5,800): KCP is an interesting option as always and one of those daily fantasy basketball options that can win you a lot of money or sink your roster. That said he has posted at least 24 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games including one 30.4 point performance and two 40 plus performances (45.7 & 44.6). On the higher side, you could look to someone like Bradley Beal or Will Barton as other solid options.

Other Top Tier Shooting Guard Options: Bradley Beal & Will Barton
Other Mid-Tier Shooting Guard Options: Andrew Wiggins & Kent Bazemore
Other Fantasy Sleeper Shooting Guard Options: Kyle Korver

Small Forward Options for FanDuel on December 12th, 2017

LeBron James ($12,600) – With no other real top tier fantasy options on the court tonight it will be hard to look past the King. James enters tonight’s game on a fantasy tear (68.1, 59 & 66.7) tear over his last three games. In that stretch, James has averaged 30 points per contest to go with double digit rebounds and near double digit assist totals.

Wilson Chandler ($4,400) – Options are there at the small forward position to spend a little extra cash. In the end, Chandler who has slowly seen his minutes increase since his three game layoff, rewarded his daily fantasy basketball owners in his last outing finishing with 33.1 fantasy points. Tonight Chandler has a chance to reward them again going against a Detroit Pistons team that ranks first in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing small forwards.

Other Top Tier Small Forward Options: Jimmy Butler& Otto Porter
Other Mid-Tier Small Forward Options: DeMarre Carroll & Rudy Gay
Other Fantasy Sleeper Small Forward Options: Doug McDermott &Stanley Johnson

Power Forward Options for FanDuel on December 12th, 2017

Ben Simmons ($10,000) – We tossed around a few options including going cheaper than Simmons here to allow us to make a run at Towns. In the end we love his matchup tonight against the Timberwolves and love his ability to post triple doubles at near will. Outside of a 28 point fantasy performance he has topped the 30 point fantasy mark in seven of his last nine overall games.

Tobias Harris ($7,300) – Here’s another one of those high upside GPP candidates we like to build around. Tonight, the Pistons power forward should be able to get going on both ends of the floor against a Nuggets team that likes to move the ball, ranks near the top of the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards and ranks near the top in points allowed.

Other Top Tier Power Forwards Options: Aaron Gordon
Other Mid-Tier Power Forwards Options: Thaddeus Young & Kelly Olynyk
Other Fantasy Sleeper Power Forwards Options: Bobby Portis &GorguiDieng

Center Options for FanDuel on December 12th, 2017

Marcin Gortat ($4,700) – You have a few directions you can go at center including going cheap with Gortart or electing to spend heavy on someone like Towns. While we like Towns, we also really like the Wizards center tonight as well as his matchup against a very bad Nets defense. The Nets currently rank third in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers in the NBA with only the Kings ahead of them in action tonight.

Other Top Tier Center Options: Karl-Anthony Towns
Other Mid-Tier Center Options: EnezKanter& Tyson Chandler
Other Fantasy Sleeper Center Options: Alex Len & Brook Lopez
