NBA FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday January 11th 2017

Fanduel NBA WFBBC 2017 08-01-2017

The NBA Schedule takes a step back tonight with a limited six game slate for FanDuel owners to take advantage of. While the Daily Fantasy Basketball options are a little thin compared to yesterday the potential for some big time fantasy performances.

At the front of the top fantasy basketball options tonight sits a pair of the top fantasy options in all of basketball. One of those options is James Harden of the Houston Rockets who is coming off back to back fantasy performances over the 66 point mark. The second of those options is Russell Westbrook who has three 65 plus fantasy performances over his last four games.

While the idea of stacking these two fantasy threats together does look great based on the potential. The downside though is the two both carry salaries over the $12k which limits us to roughly just $5k to spend on the other seven fantasy slots we have left to fill out our roster.

This opens up the door to find a few key Fantasy Sleepers and Bargains to help you if you decide to go with or without the big two in your lineup. One option we like is Marcus Smart for the Boston Celtics who is seeing an increased workload with Avery Bradley out and has rewarded fantasy owners with three straight 33 plus fantasy performances. Another Celtic who has been rewarding owners is Kelly Olynyk with nearly six times his daily salary.

With all of the Daily Fantasy Basketball options taking to the floor tonight here our some of our top options for January 11th 2017.

Point Guards – Chris Paul & Marcus Smart

Now we love Westbrook tonight as a top option but we like Paul as a more efficient and cheaper option. The Los Angeles Clippers point guard has the top fantasy matchup at the point guard position while posting back to back games with at least 42 fantasy points. Smart on the other hand should consistently see minutes at the shooting guard position opening up his fantasy value as long as he stays under the $6k mark.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Russell Westbrook

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Ricky Rubio

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Raymond Felton

Shooting Guards – James Harden  & C.J. McCollum

The shooting guard position is the one position where we all are limited with top tier fantasy options. That being said with Zach LaVine dealing with an injury and Bradley Beal carrying nearly a $7k salary it leaves us looking at Harden and McCollum. Harden continues to post big time fantasy performances while the Trailblazers shooting guard has the best fantasy matchup at the position.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: James Harden & C.J. McCollum

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Zach LaVine (Injury Status)

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Nik Stauskas

Small Forwards – LeBron James & Aaron Gordon

Realistically we can’t build a lineup with all the big names that are the best options tonight. That being said if you move around the pieces James is one that you will surely want to assemble a few of your lineups with based on his fantasy matchup against the Trailblazers. Gordon on the other hand is a high risk high reward fantasy option that has the fantasy matchup to post a 35 plus point fantasy performance tonight.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Carmelo Anthony

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Andrew Wiggins & Otto Porter

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Andre Roberson

Power Forwards – Markieff Morris & Gorgui Dieng

Here is the one position where we can see a ton of value from the Mid-Tier to Fantasy Sleeper options. Two of those mid tier options are Morris and Dieng who have the second and third best fantasy matchups of the night. Despite their bust potentially they both have produced at six to seven times their fantasy salaries at times this season.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kevin Love

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Ersan Ilyasova

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Amir Johnson

Center Option – Joel Embiid or Tristan Thompson

The final position to round our Daily Fantasy Basketball lineup is one that is a little difficult to build around. While we see a big game from Karl-Anthony Towns we strongly like Joel Embiid based on his fantasy matchup against the New York Knicks. Along with Embiid we also like Thompson as a high risk reward type that has the potential to put together a big game against a Trailblazers team that ranks third in the NBA in fantasy points allowed per game to opposing centers.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Karl-Anthony Towns

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Marcin Gortat

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Joakim Noah
