Fanduel NBA 2017 CONTESTS 03-01-2017

Wednesday has arrived delivering us just another Hump Day filled with some big time daily fantasy basketball action on FanDuel. Tonight’s slate features a solid seven game NBA lineup that will make daily fantasy owners ask the question who should we build our daily fantasy basketball lineup around?

Along with the seven game NBA slate to build around FanDuel delivers some big tim GPP tournaments for owners to cash in on. Here are a few of the low entry fee NBA FanDuel contests that will reward some big time cash tonight.

$500K Wed NBA Clutch Shot ($4 Entry – $100k To 1st Place)

$30K Wed NBA Layup ($5 Entry – $3k To 1st Place)

$30K Wed NBA Dribbler ($1 Entry – $2k To 1st Place)

With that being said lets take a look at some of the NBA FanDuel options we like for Wednesday January 4th, 2017. At the front of the list sits Russell Westbrook who is coming off another 40 plus fantasy performance. The only downside tonight is the high salary cap number limiting the other moves while a let down performance could cost you a ton of money. Other top options consist of Kevin Durant, LeBron James, DeMarcus Cousins and Giannis Antetokoumpo.

Now while we all love the top tier options we all need to find a few lower tier options to round out our lineup. Two of those options we like are point guard Malcom Brogdon and center Willie Reed. Both are expected to start tonight for their respective clubs while providing us all with a big time upside despite both costing less than $4,500.

With all that said here is our top Daily Fantasy Basketball Options for January 4th, 2017.

Point Guards – Russell Westbrook & Malcom Brogdon

It is hard to look past Westbrook tonight despite his high salary cap figure attached to him. For us we like his potential opportunities tonight in a contest that is predicted to be the second fastest played game of the night opening up additional scoring chances. Meanwhile Brogdon is that high risk high reward option that you need to take home the big cash in GPP Formats.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kemba Walker

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Elfrid Payton & Dennis Schroder

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Raymond Felton

Shooting Guards – Giannis Antetokounmpo & Jamal Crawford

Tonight is not the night where you look past the Greek Freak as he has the top fantasy matchup among all the shooting guards in action. Meanwhile with Chris Paul still battling an injury it is hard to look past Crawford as well as his teammate J.J. Reddick based on their potential upside. The other option we like tonight a lot at the shooting guard position Dwyane Wade who is currently listed as a Game Time Decision.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Klay Thompson & Dwyane Wade (Injury Status)

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like:Jeremy Lamb

Small Forwards – Carmelo Anthony & Victor Oladipo

The small forward position is loaded with a ton of potential talent tonight making it a difficult decision to select just two that would work. In the end we elected to go with Anthony (Top Fantasy Matchup for Shooting Guards) and Oladipo (3rd Best Fantasy Matchup) simply because of their fantasy matchups tonight. You could consider going with someone like Richard Jefferson if LeBron James misses the game with the Flu as a Deep Fantasy Sleeper.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kevin Durant

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Evan Turner

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Kent Bazemore

Power Forwards –Draymond Green & Serge Ibaka

Green as well as Kevin Love are the top two fantasy options available tonight at the power forward position. That being said we love Green’s matchup as well as the fact he saves you a little cash over Love. Meanwhile Ibaka has posted over 30 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kevin Love

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Zach Randolph

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Taj Gibson & Marvin Williams

Center Option – Greg Monroe

For us the Center position is one of those slots where you could see a ton of value at the mid tier level. For us we love Monroe based on his fantasy matchup against the New York Knicks while Steven Adams is another high reward low cost type of options that could also turn in a big time fantasy performance. At the top DeMarcus Cousins is nearly a 50 point gamble each night but in GPP formats it is hard to build around a player producing at less than 5 times his current salary.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Dwight Howard

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Mason Plumlee

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Willie Reed
