The excitement is building for March Madness but that won’t slow us down from cashing in on some NBA FanDuel action. Tonight’s lineup of NBA games taking to the hardwood delivers an excellent list of some of the top fantasy options around the NBA including DeMarcus Cousins, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and James Harden.

For us we have elected to build our lineup around Cousins tonight as he will look to lead his Sacramento Kings against the New Orleans Pelicans. This will be the second meeting of these two teams with Cousins dominating the Pelicans in their first meeting back on March 7th.

In that contest, Cousins scored 40 points to go with 16 rebounds, four assists, one blocked shot and four steals while finishing with 70.2 fantasy points. Add in the fact that the Pelicans rank second in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers and Cousins was an easy decision tonight.

Now for us we would love to add Westbrook to the mix as well but the big question is whether or not we can find a few Fantasy Sleepers that could provide us with enough salary cap space. One of those sleepers for us is Mike Dunleavy for the Chicago Bulls tonight against the Washington Wizards.

Dunleavy is expected to play tonight for the Bulls after missing the team’s last game against the Toronto Raptors. The Bulls small forward has received consistent minutes leading up to that game posting at least 20 minutes in nine straight games including six of those games with at least 28 minutes. Look for Dunleavy to post some solid fantasy numbers tonight especially if the Bulls are without Derrick Rose.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Wednesday March 16th, 2016.

PG – Jose Calderon ($4,200): Calderon is a solid fantasy sleeper option tonight for the New York Knicks against the Golden State Warriors. The Knicks point guard not only averaged only 30 minutes a game over the past ten games he has also delivered two games with more than 32 fantasy points over that stretch as well.

PG – John Wall ($9,400): We debated going with all of the top fantasy options before electing to go with the Washington Wizards point guard. Wall has one of the top matchups tonight going up against a Bulls team that is allowing the third most amount of fantasy points to opposing point guards.

SG – Avery Bradley ($5,200): Looking at tonight’s lineup of games turned us to the Boston Celtics verse the Oklahoma City Thunder in a game that might be one of the higher scoring games of the night. Bradley has posted at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games.

SG – Wesley Matthews ($4,000): Matthews is one of our FanDuel sleepers tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Dallas Mavericks shooting guard is a big time fantasy gamble tonight but it is hard to pass up on the salary cap space and the potential Matthews offers nearly every night of the week.

SF – Mike Dunleavy ($3,800): The idea of teaming up a few of the top fantasy options together allows us to take the gamble on Dunleavy tonight. Now another option would be to go with a cheaper option other than Wall to free up some salary cap space to go with a more expensive option at the small forward position.

SF – Nicolas Batum ($7,500): How can we not go with the Charlotte Hornets small forward after his recent stretch of play on the court. Batum has posted at least 38 fantasy points in three straight games as well as posting at least 30 fantasy points in six of the last nine games.

PF – Derrick Williams ($3,900): Williams is another Fantasy Sleeper option tonight for FanDuel owners. The New York Knicks power forward enters this game riding three straight games with at least 21 fantasy points making it him a nice cheap bargain.

PF – Anthony Davis ($10,100): Davis has the top fantasy matchup of all the power forwards tonight going up against a Sacramento Kings team allowing the most fantasy points to the position. The New Orleans Pelicans power forward has posted at least 40 fantasy points in seven straight games.

C – DeMarcus Cousins ($11,100): Much like Davis, Cousins was one of the easiest fantasy options for us tonight. Cousins has not posted less than 44 fantasy points in nine straight games.
