NFL FanDuel Lineup for Week 14 of the 2017 Fantasy Football Season

The hunt for the playoffs has started for many season long fantasy owners but for daily fantasy football owners the action continues to heat up this weekend. Week 14 of the 2017 NFL Schedule is action packed with a solid lineup of contests to build your lineups on FanDuel around including guys like Philip Rivers, A.J. Green and Kareem Hunt.

Now with Tom Brady playing on Monday Night Football, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan already finished up with their Thursday Night Football matchup. It leaves very little wiggle room at quarterback to decide which of the quarterbacks are worth the option to build around. For us Rivers looks to be a guy you can’t pass up on this weekend against the Washington Redskins. Entering Week 14, Rivers has thrown for at least 16 fantasy points in four straight games

Meanwhile a guy that might be getting passed over who could put together a big game is Ben Roethlisberger. As daily fantasy owners look to pass up on the Steelers quarterback with his difficult matchup against a Baltimore Ravens defense that has allowed the second fewest amount of fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The loss of Jimmy Smith will play a big factor in what the Ravens will do and it should open up the door for Antonio Brown to have a big time fantasy performance.

As we lean towards one of these two options under center, let’s take a look around the NFL at some of the NFL teams you should consider building your fantasy lineup around.

Dallas Cowboys (VS New York Giants)

Giants rank 4th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, 10th in fantasy points to wide receivers and 1st in fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

Oakland Raiders (Vs Kansas City Chiefs)

Chiefs ranked 5th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and 2nd in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers.

Here is our Daily Fantasy Football Options we like for Sunday December 10th, 2017

2017 NFL Daily Fantasy Football Options Week 12

Quarterback – Philip Rivers

In the end, we just couldn’t look past Rivers who continues to put up some big time fantasy numbers week in and week out no matter who the opposing defense is. While the Redskins have been solid on defense they have allowed Dak Prescott, Drew Brees and Case Keenum all to put together solid fantasy numbers against them over the past four weeks. Meanwhile using Roethlisberger is worth the gamble in GPP formats and one that would allow you to stack him with Brown.

Other Top Quarterback Options – Carson Wentz

Sleeper/Bargain Options – Andy Dalton & Ben Roethlisberger

Potential Bust – Jared Goff

Running Backs – LeSean McCoy & Theo Riddick

You could go in so many directions in Week 14 at the running back position but it is hard to look past McCoy as he looks to take advantage of an Indianapolis Colts defense that has struggled at times. The Colts enter Week 14 allowing the 7th most fantasy points to opposing running backs and the fifth most rushing touchdowns (10) in the NFL. On the cheaper side, we turned to Riddick as we expect to see him carry the bulk of the load for the Lions against a very bad Tampa Bay Buccaneers team while also adding a ton of value with his ability to make catches out of the backfield.  Another sleeper type option we like in Week 14 is Peyton Barber in this same matchup

Other Top Running Back Options – Melvin Gordon & Kareem Hunt

Sleeper/Bargain Options – Peyton Barber, Johnathan Stewart & Rod Smith

Potential Bust – Todd Gurley

Wide Receivers – Keenan Allen, Marquise Goodwin & Larry Fitzgerald

As we started to look around at the wide receivers it is hard to look past Allen as we look to stack him with Rivers. While in some GPP tournaments you will have the chance to stack him with Brown not all tournaments this weekend features the Sunday Night contest. Entering Week 14 Allen has seen double digit targets in three straight games as he has topped the 20 point fantasy mark in all three games. Meanwhile Goodwin should continue to put together solid performances with Jimmy Garropolo under center and that includes this weekend against a Houston Texans defense that has allowed 1,900 receiving yards to go with 13 touchdown grabs. Rounding out our options is the Arizona Cardinals receiver against a Tennessee Titans defense that has had their struggles at times this season against wide receivers.

Other Top Wide Receiver Options – Antonio Brown, Doug Baldwin, Robbie Anderson & Adam Thielen

Sleeper/Bargain Options – Corey Davis, Corey Coleman & Dede Westbrook

Potential Bust – Mike Evans & Alshon Jeffery

Tight End – Jason Witten

It all comes down to Travis Kelce or Jason Witten for us at the tight end position. In the end we just couldn’t look past Witten who has the top matchup of the week against a suspect New York Giants defense. The Giants defense has allowed a league high 834 yards to opposing tight ends and a league high 10 touchdown grabs. Meanwhile Kelce is posted a double digit performance just a few weekends back against this same Oakland Raiders defense.

Other Top Tight End Options –Travis Kelce

Sleeper/Bargain Options – Jared Cook & Tyler Kroft

Potential Bust –  Jimmy Graham

Rounding out our roster is kicker Travis Coons and the Buffalo Bills defense. For us Coons should benefit from kicking in the better weather environment while the Bills should be able to take advantage of a bad Indianapolis Colts offense.  Kicker – Travis Coons
