Fanduel Hockey Lineup for Thursday February 12th

Fanduel World Hockey Championship

The NHL action takes full ice tonight on Fanduel as the NBA All-Star break hits. This gives fantasy owners an opportunity to focus on the action going on tonight on the ice including a nine game slate starting at 7pm. The early action features the Anaheim Ducks heading to take on the Carolina Hurricanes while the Toronto Maple Leafs travel to take on the New York Islanders.

When you start to look at tonight’s contest the first thing that stands out is how many teams that rank in the top half of the league in points allowed are in action. Six of the top 10 teams on that list are in action including the Montreal Canadians who are allowing a league low 2.21 goals per contest. Other teams on that list include Nashville (#28th), New York Rangers (#27), Pittsburgh Penguins (#23) and the St. Louis Blues (#23).

On the opposite side three of the leaders in points are in action as well as five of the top ten goal scorers. As far as point leaders the list includes Sidney Crosby, Ryan Getzlaf, Vladimir Tarasenko and Tyler Johnson. The goal scorers include Rick Nash who has a league high 33 tied with Alexander Ovechkin.

Here is our complete Fanduel NHL Lineup for February 12th.

LW – Max Pacioretty ($8,600): Pacioretty has an ideal matchup tonight against a Edmonton Oilers team that ranks third in the NHL on the season in fantasy points allowed to left wingers. The Montreal Canadians left winger has put together five contests with over five fantasy points in his last 10 games.

LW – Nick Spaling ($3,800): As we looked at all the positions across the board we were looking for a few bargains landing us with Spaling. Spaling is coming off a goal and a 4.4 fantasy performance in the teams last outing.

RW – Martin St. Louis ($5,000): The Rangers have one of the better matchups tonight going up against a Colorado team allowing the ninth most goals in the NHL. Despite his recent slump St. Louis has the ability to break out on any night.

RW – Taylor Beck ($3,200): Beck is another great bargain tonight going up against a Winnipeg Jets team that has had its troubles of late against the right wing position. The Nashville Predators right winger is coming off a 4.8 fantasy performance in his last outing.

C – Sidney Crosby ($9,400): We elected to spend our money at the center position starting with the Pittsburgh Penguins star. Crosby has struggled his last two games for fantasy owners making it hard to believe he will continue to struggle.

C – John Tavares ($8,300): The New York Islanders center has one of the top plays of the night going up against Toronto team allowing over three goals a game. Over his last ten games, Tavares has found the net or set up a teammate in seven of those contests.

D – P.K. Subban ($5,100): We like the Montreal Canadians tonight against a Edmonton Oilers team allowing the second most goals per game in the NHL. That being said Subban has played well of late registering only three games under one fantasy point versus six games with over three fantasy points.

D – Johnny Boychuk ($4,900): One advantage to Boychuk his ability to shoot the puck which helps his fantasy value including six contests with over three shots in his last 10 games. The results have shown up in the fantasy totals with only two contests with less than one fantasy point scored.

G – Dustin Tokarski ($6,600): Tokarski gets the nod tonight in between the pipes for the Montreal Canadians. These two teams faced off back in October as Tokaraski allowed two goals but the Canadians struggled to score.
