Fanduel Fantasy NBA Lineup for Friday January 30th

Kyrie Irvin looks to continue his success tonight for fantasy owners on FanDuel. Irving along with J.R. Smith are excellent plays for fantasy owners tonight as the Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to be with out LeBron James.

This also opens up the door for a few other members of the Cavaliers including Tristian Thompson and Kevin Love. We elected to go with Smith based solely on his upside compared to his salary. Along with Irving we also teamed him up with Stephen Curry at the point guard position.

While we like Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins tonight injuries have us alarmed with no confirmation the two will suit up. This led us to go a little cheaper at those two positions and spread the love to a few of the other players in the $5,000 – to $6,000 range.

Here is our complete FanDuel Lineup for the NBA tonight.

PG – Stephen Curry ($9,800): We had a toss up going between Curry as well as Jeff Teague who has a great fantasy play against the Portland Trailblazers. We ended up splurging with Curry against the Utah Jazz. Curry dropped 27 points just two weeks ago against the same Jazz team finishing with 43.9 fantasy points.

PG – Kyrie Irving ($9,500): Irving is fresh off his 55 point performance and has been one of the more consistent point guards in the NBA. The Cavaliers are expected to be without LeBron James tonight taking a big time scorer out of the lineup. Only concern is how many fantasy owners will use him tonight.

SG – Tyreke Evans ($8,200): We went back and forth with Evans and Klay Thompson at this position slot. In the end Thompson’s only game with under 30 fantasy points in the last month came against the same Utah Jazz team they are playing tonight. That made it an easy call for Evans at this slot.

SG – J.R. Smith ($5,600): The Cavaliers will need another scorer tonight with James off the court. Smith has been consistent but saw a spike when he first joined the team when James was off the court.

SF – Terrence Ross ($3,500): Ross is our fantasy bargain of the night going up against the Brooklyn Nets. He contributes consistently in the 15-20 fantasy point mark giving you some salary cap relief to spread across the board.

SF – Joe Ingles ($4,300): Ingles will be the teams starting small forward till at least the All-Star break with Rodney Hood out. Over his last four games he has posted 20 plus fantasy performances in each contest.

PF – Donatas Motiejunas ($5,400): The Houston Rockets power forward gets the nod tonight with Dwight Howard expected to miss the contest. Montiejunas has nine of his last ten games with double digit fantasy performances.

PF – Thaddeus Young ($6,800): Young has shown at times he has the ability to put up a big time fantasy performance. Tonight he has a viable option against the Minnesota Timberwolves. On the season the Timberwolves are allowing over 44 fantasy points a game to the power forward position.

C – Enes Kanter ($6,100): It all came down to the best value at the position for the dollar amount. That led us to Kanter who has two forty point fantasy performance over his last five games as well as 37.7 performance.
