NBA FanDuel Lineup for Friday January 26th 2018

It’s all about the cash this Friday Night as the NBA schedule delivers an exciting lineup of contests for DFS owners to cash in on FanDuel. Tonight’s slate features top fantasy basketball options including LeBron James, James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

As DFS owners debate tonight the two options of that group that will be hard to look past is LeBron James and DeMarcus Cousins. James who will be on his home floor tonight will be going against the same Pacers team he posted 59 fantasy points against back in December. Add that success to the fact that the Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star will do everything in his power tonight to get his a much needed win at home.

Meanwhile, it is nearly impossible to look past Cousins any night of the week despite carrying the top salary on FanDuel. The New Orleans Pelicans big man is coming off his 10th straight 45 plus fantasy performance. A stretch that also included a DFS owners dream game just a few nights ago when he finished with 96.6 performance. Before we get to our NBA fantasy sleepers for the night and the rest of the options we like, here is a look at the NBA schedule for January 26th, 2018.

NBA Schedule for Friday January 26th, 2018

Atlanta Hawks @ Charlotte Hornets
Indiana Pacers @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Utah Jazz @ Toronto Raptors
Los Angeles Lakers @ Chicago Bulls
Brooklyn Nets @ Milwaukee Bucks
Houston Rockets @ New Orleans Pelicans
Los Angeles Clippers @ Memphis Grizzlies
Philadelphia 76ers @ San Antonio Spurs
Portland Trailblazers @ Dallas Mavericks
New York Knicks @ Phoenix Suns

Here is a quick look at a few of the NBA fantasy sleepers we like on FanDuel tonight.

NBA FanDuel Fantasy Sleepers for Friday January 26th, 2018

Dillon Brooks – $4,300

The Grizzlies small forward is a perfect GPP option for any DFS owner looking to save a few dollars. While Brooks has the potential to lay a dud nearly any night of the week, he has been seeing the minutes over the past week or two to allow for his production to top six or seven times his value. Monitor the status of Tyreke Evans tonight who missed the teams last contest, if he is out Brooks should be a solid option tonight.

Bobby Portis – $4,500

Here is another tricky fantasy sleeper that you will either love or hate tomorrow morning depending on his production. The Bulls power forward is currently on a team with to many options causing his minutes to bounce up and down. That said, over the last 15 games, Portis has posted fantasy performances that include 47.2, 30.8 and 30.4 to go along with four other games with at least 24 fantasy points. The GPP upside is there but concerns of his minutes make him a tough decision.

Other fantasy sleepers/bargains to consider include Cory Joseph, Jeremy Lamb, Pat Connaughton, Josh Jackson, Joe Ingles, Wesley Johnson, Davis Bertans, Frank Kaminsky, Greg Monroe & Dewayne Dedmon.

That said here are the NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball options we like for Friday January 26th, 2018.

Point Guards Options for FanDuel on Friday January 26th, 2018

TopPoint Guard Options:Damian Lillard& Eric Bledsoe

Mid-Tier Point Guard Options:Dejounte Murray & Darren Collison

Fantasy Sleeper Options:Ricky Rubio, Jarrett Jack & Cory Joseph

The point guard position tonight is an interesting one tonight for DFS owners to build around and one that you can look to save some cash on. That said our top two options we really like tonight are Lillard for the Trailblazers and Bledsoe for the Bucks as both players have soli fantasy matchups tonight. Lillard will get a shot a Mavericks team that ranks 1st in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards over the past month while Bledsoe gets a shot at a very bad Nets defense. Now that said depending on what other top tier options you elect to go with you might have to turn to someone like Collison who has a solid fantasy matchup against the Cavaliers while all three of our sleeper options have the ability to post 25-35 fantasy points.

Shooting Guard Options for FanDuel on Friday January 26th, 2018

Top Shooting Guard Options:James Harden & Devin Booker

Mid-Tier Shooting Guard Options:Jordan Clarkson, Tim Hardaway & Malcom Brogdon

Fantasy Sleeper Options:D’Angelo Russell, Tryone Wallace, Jeremy Lamb & Pat Conaughton

How can you not love the shooting guard position tonight? James Harden, Victor Oladipo, Lou Williams, DeMar DeRozan, Devin Booker and even possible Tyreke Evans. For us though it is hard to look past Harden any night of the week while Booker has a solid matchup against the Knicks in a game that could see a ton of scoring on both sides of the floor. Meanwhile Clarkson is another option that save you a few dollars but will be facing a Bulls team that ranks 3rd in the NBA in DVP against shooting guards while also struggling against guards that handle the ball. Rounding out the options tonight are a few solid barains such as Russell who if the minutes are there could be a 25-30 point option while Wallace continues to see extended minutes for the Clippers.

Small Forward Options for FanDuel on Friday January 26th, 2018

Top Small Forward Options:LeBron James & Giannis Antetokounmpo (Injury)

Mid-Tier Small Forward Options:Michael Beasley &DeMarre Carroll

Fantasy Sleeper Options:Joe Ingles, Wesley Johnson, Josh Jackson & Dillon Brooks

The small forward position has one of our two near locks of the night in James. Tonight, we expect James to do everything in his power to get the Cavaliers a win opening the door for a triple double and a chance at a 60 plus fantasy performance. Add that with the fact the Pacers have allowed the 5th most fantasy points against small forwards over the past month makes James even a tougher option not to build around. Along with James, the Greek Freak is another top tier option if he is in the lineup for the Bucks against the Nets. As much as we love the top options you can find some solid value between the $4k and $7k mark as well. One of those options is Beasley who has an ideal matchup against a Suns team that allows a ton of fantasy points while guys like Ingles and Johnson not only see the minutes but they also have top five matchups tonight at the small forward position.

Power Forward Options for FanDuel on Friday January 26th, 2018

Top Power Forward Options:Anthony Davis, Kristaps Porzingis (rest) & Blake Griffin

Mid-Tier Power Forward Options:John Collins &Larry Nance Jr

Fantasy Sleeper Options:Bobby Portis, Frank Kaminsky & Davis Bertans

DFS owners have some fire power at the power forward position tonight but you also have to decide what are your top 2-3 options you want to build around. For us we love James, Cousins and Lillard which would make the power forward position become a slot to find some bargains. That said Davis is coming off three straight 42 plus fantasy performances but is not nearly producing consistently to be a lock in a GPP format while Porzingis and Griffin have top 3 fantasy matchups against teams that struggle against power forwards. If you elect to save some cash here look to Collins who is not only getting solid minutes for the Hawks (21-27 mpg) but also facing a Hornets team that has ranks first in DVP against power forwards over the past month. Even deeper on our list of options at power forward is our sleeper options including Portis who we talked about above and Bertans who has posted 24 and 26 fantasy points in the Spurs last two contests.

Center Options for FanDuel on Friday January 26th, 2018

Top Center Options:DeMarcus Cousins & Dwight Howard

Mid-Tier Center Options:Julius Randle & Kevin Love

Fantasy Sleeper Options:Tristan Thompson & Greg Monroe

The center postion in reality could be just a one man option tonight as DFS owners will all look to Cousins to build around. For us we love Cousins again tonight and expect to use him in our lineups. That said we expect to see his usage rate extremely high tonight so a bad game tonight could cost a ton of people a chance to cash in that is why we all have to have a few other options to like. This opens up a door for someone like Howard who will face off aginst his former team the Hawks who ranks 4th in DVP against centers during the 2017-18 NBA season. Looking a little cheaper Love will return to his power forward slot while Randle has a solid matchup against the Bulls in a game that could see both teams topping the 110 point mark each. Rounding out the center position are two options that can save you some big money but could see low usage rates. Thompson will return to the starting rotation for the Cavaliers against a Pacers team that has struggled all season against centers meanwhile, Monroe has gotten back on the court (29 & 30 minutes last two games) while rewarding DFS owners with 34.4 and 40.9 fantasy points.

In the end, when building tonight you will need to do some plugging and playing depending on which top tier options you really like tonight.
